Not a good read.
I got through exactly 21% of this book and felt like screaming. This is not a straight forward book about hints to declutter or get rid of things, rather this author is simply telling a person to clean things. I sure as heck do not need to be told to pick up clothes or towels or to clean the grout in my bathroom. How does cleaning grout or anything else mentioned in this book help me DECLUTTER??? If I wanted to read a Susie Home Maker book I would have looked for that in a title. Terrible read. It's like the author ran around her house with pen and paper and wrote down things that could be cleaned and stuck them in a book.

It's really helping!
A great, and very helpful book! I especially like the way it's written, with short sentences and bullet points that are easy to read quickly and focus on. For the clutter-challenged like myself, I think this is a huge key in getting things done: being able to quickly focus on 1 or 2 things that may be broken down into smaller tasks than I would have thought of, but which actually help accomplish the larger task of organizing/cleaning without the guilt of spending time 'reading' on how when you should have been 'doing' it. I would highly recommend this, it goes room by room and is full of practical suggestions if you only have 30 seconds or 5 minutes.

and find at least one easy organizing task to make your space a bit better ...
This is a practical, actionable, and approachable book that is designed for people who have "lives". So many other books in the space are written by 20 somethings with no kids and nothing but free time on their hands (I'm looking at you Ms. Kondo). But, for those of us with jobs and kids and schedules packed end-to-end, spending 15 minutes folding a t-shirt to sit on end is just not going to happen. This book is different. The author understands a normal life because she herself has one that she juggles too. This book is written from that perspective and understanding. It's the sort of thing that you can pick up, turn to just about any page, and find at least one easy organizing task to make your space a bit better using the time and energy you have at the moment. No matter if that is two hours or thirty seconds, there are dozens of tips and ideas to fit either. The idea that making just a little bit of progress is far more valuable and rewarding than making none at all. Also, it is a start — thirty seconds here and 15 minutes there can clean up and organize a whole room.Seriously, get this book, If you even manage to do five small tasks it suggests it will be money well spent.

Great book.
Wish I had ordered the paperback for ease of reference, but even on the kindle, I really like how each space is broken out, and task ideas are provided for even the smallest amounts of time that you might have to declutter. Highly recommend for someone who wants a fresh perspective on their space and how to get it under control. The tone is nice too, not condescending or "zen" oriented.

It is highly motivating.. It explains to you in detail how to do tasks. It is very encouraging towards you. I would reccomend this book to anyone who is overwhemed just like I was. It tells you in detail how to clean small sections at a time. For example, how to check for stuff under your bed you need to get a stick like object. I love this you can walk your dog and clean up its poop and then clean up the cat liter at the same time. You are simplifying your life. Well, I got this book to figure out. things that are going on in my life. Whats my purpose is in life and where I can find happiness. and peace. Plus have more freedom to do the things I want to do. Well I would teccomend this book to anyone who is overwhelmed just like I was. They just nef to get this book.
Overall, it just a good book. Now if I had the time, I would go back and reference this book.
