Very nice flavor and well before Lavazza's use-by date
These make a very nice latte with a nice milk chocolate flavor and good crema. Not bitter at all. Mine had over a year before the best-before date. Please note that the use-buy date is in the European format DD/MM/YYY, not MM/DD/YYYY.People complaining about defective pods take note - you are trying to brew immediately AFTER steaming and the water is wayyyy too hot still. Steam temps are much higher than brew temps. That is why the pod is failing. Either BREW FIRST or give the water some time to cool. You can also cool the thermoblock by using an empty pod and flush a bit of water through before using the brew pod. Anyhow, pods are just fine, this is user error.

This item is not suitable for a Nespresso machine
I have bought Lavazza coffee pods lately and really enjoyed the quality of the coffee. Very similar to Nespresso, however with a better cost benefit. When I searched for Lavazza this one showed up and it looked just like the others, unfortunately, it does not fit my machine and I am stuck with 100 coffee pods. No return or refund available :(

Good blend, not too bitter
We tried this coffee on our Lavazza Point machine at work, after trying the "Aroma Club" 100% Arabica, which is probably stronger and with more of a bitter touch as compared to this one, which tastes a bit lighter and smoother.Overall, both good coffees and it's probably down to personal preference, I'm fine with both and my wife prefers the stronger blends. We also tried the "Intenso - Aroma Di Caffé" caps with conflicting opinions, I found them stronger and with a richer cream, my wife felt a "burnt" taste that she didn't like too much.I believe that part of her issue is that we always drink the Nespresso "Intenso" at home, which is in our opinion one step up as compared to the Lavazza Point, that's also why I give to this product 4 stars instead of 5
