Top Notch Mic!
I'm very happy happy with the product.I've seen tons of different reviews and head-to-heads on Youtube so I had a good idea of what I was getting. It's a very highly regarded mic and lives up to its reputation. I chose it over the over highly reputed usual culprits like the Rode NT and Blue Yeti due to its form factor. The 2020 is MUCH SHORTER on a desk versus the other two--perfect for a desk that doesn't like to be crowded. The sound quality lived up to its name of being CRISP and clear versus the Rode's warmer sound. It picks up my voice at over 3 feet with 100% gain just great and it sounds great with my acoustic guitar. The mic stand does the job. Just put the front leg of the stand IN FRONt as the mic is front heavy and the front leg needs to support that. If you're looking to be constantly futzing with it and are clumsy, then get a better mic stand. The same holds true with the Rode as well with its small stand. The pop filter is from Neweer. Solid filter. I decided to get a $13 Vocalbeat windscreen instead as a dust protector (my house gets really dusty) and pop filter function. It fits just fine and doesn't impact the sound other than helping out on the p's and s's that these filters are supposed to do in any case! https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LZIDS2A/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1From a value point of view, it's $20 cheaper than the Rode NT. Yes, the Rode comes with a pop screen, but so does this specific listing. But I would have put a windscreen on the Rode instead and removed the pop filter since my house is so dusty. Plus, like I said, the Rode and Yeti are GINORMOUS(!) compared to this thing (check the comparison vids on Youtube). So tall as to interfere with viewing my screen unless I bought a telescoping movable stand! And the neutral clarity and crispness is great. It's easier to mess with that in post processing for whatever reason than having a warmer sounding/muddier sound mic like the Rode (though it sounds fine too, though not as crisp)......Another note. Since Windows 10 came out , SOME people complained on ALL BRAND MICS (including Rode, Yeti, etc) sounding less volume than Windows 7. This is a Windows 10 thing that hasn't affected me but it was there. Microsoft must have fixed the Windows 10 drivers as my mic installed immediately(!) in seconds and I was off to the races. All I did was go into "Sound Setting" and move the Gain to "100%". Done and done.

Truly Top Notch Microphone!
The sound from this microphone is unbelievable. I spent weeks searching for the perfect podcast set up and found this gem of a microphone. I did make the mistake of originally purchasing the AT2020 but returned it to get the AT2020 +. Both microphones work great but the AT2020 + allows you to monitor the microphone signal with no delay. When I originally tested out the AT2020 and had the headphone jack plugged into the computer there was a pretty bad echo or delay when I spoke. I'm not sure exactly why this happened but after doing an evening of research it looked to be a very common issue with no real fix. For another $30 you can get the AT2020 + which again eliminates that issue and allows you to monitor everything with no delay. The AT2020 + arrives ready to go but I did incorporate a few extra thing to make my desk ready for podcasting. To do this I purchased the Spider Large Diaphram Condenser Microphone Shock Mount & Samson MB1 Mini Boom Stand. This AT2020 + looks currently comes with a pop filter as well but if you don't have one I would recommend getting one of those too.My set up prior to this was the Blue Yeti and although it too had its moments of greatness, this mic set up completely blows doors on it. Sorry Blue Yeti...I am again so impressed with the quality of both the sound and highly recommend it for anyone getting into podcasting, voice overs or anything else that requires outstanding audio.Hope that helps!

Fantastic Quality (Streamer). Pop filter as an added bonus!
For those who are curious about doing streaming, youtube, or even podcasts, this is perfect. - When I first saw some of my friends within the streaming community using Audio Technica, I knew I needed one for myself (considering I was working with an old Logitech Webcam Microphone). This microphone quality is very crisp and clear and I wouldn't expect anything less from a condenser microphone. When I saw that this had a pop filter added, I got super excited and felt it was a really good deal. *(I know some people prefer having a microphone and then add a preamp but this works for everything I need). The BONUS is that my viewers tell me how clear it sounds, just that I should save up for a less squeaky chair, but that isn't the microphones fault. :) - (Only problem not related to the microphone itself is that I had was trying to get my pop filter adjusted to how I would want it on a microphone suspension arm, but I got it to where it fits my needs). If I could go back to when I first was unsure of what I should get (this, or the microphone and preamp), I would definitely purchase this again in a heartbeat.

Very good mic for beginners
Very good mic for beginners. It will make you sound very clear but you really do need to use the pop filter. This mic picks up ALL of the details from your mouth, including every bit of saliva. This mic has instant feedback if you plug your headphones into it, meaning that you can hear what the mic is picking up as it's happening. Great for youtube or streaming- you'll always know how you sound more or less. Be warned, if you turn up the gain on the mic you can basically hear anything that happens in your house. Get some soundproofing alongside this mic, unless you want whoever you're talking to to hear when someone is using the bathroom down the hall.

this mic's quite good
the at2020's got me impressed. the sound quality is great for the price point, it's microphone design looks solid. though, there are a minor drawbacks. the microphone's stand is very underwhelming, for what you'd expect of a microphone of that sort, so i got me another stand. in addition, it seems that the microphone frequency response isn't that high pitched friendly, and my voice sounds a little bit unnatural. so as a result, i wouldn't recommend this mic for people with high pitched voice, and i would rather tell them to get the rode nt. overall it's bang for the buck's fantastic.

Extremely pleased with the overall quality and build of the product, really well made! The audio quality that this mic produces are way above any headset microphone that you will find and is great for anybody who wants to make commentarys or podcasts.
