Romans 8-16 for You: For Reading, For Feeding, For Leading (God's Word For You) Audio CD – Unabridged, January 13, 2015

This really had a tremendous impact on my faith and my life! I am now able to face all situations with complete faith and confidence. A must read for all!

If you find the book of Romans challenging to understand, then this book will help you better understand the messages.

The For You series books are such a wonderful tool for biblical study. Each section is a perfect amount to read, meditate on, and digest each day. I appreciate all of the new biblical knowledge and insight I've gained thanks to the details pointed out by the author's commentary. The Bible is so rich and having a book to help me study it is a blessing.

What a fantastic book series. I went through Keller's other book on Romans 1-7, and this book picks up where he leaves off. The series claims not to be a "commentary" per se, but more of a exegetical explanation of what is being talked about. Keller has a great way of unfolding the logic of Paul in a profound and easy to understand way. There's no nonsense here, and as someone who has read Roman's dozens of times throughout his life, I found many new nuggets of truth unfolded in this book. The book comes with a great glossary that give good explanations and definitions of tough theological words, and Keller's style of writing is conversational, using just a right balance of Greek translation, quotes from other scholars (such as John Stott), and Keller's own scriptural knowledge. A great book for going through as an individual study, but it could just as easily serve as a book for group study as well. I'd say that you'd want to start with Romans 1-7 For You before starting 8-16, as this book continues many lines of thought laid out by Paul and explained by Keller in his other book. All in all this has been one of my favorite books to study the Bible with, and has gotten many highlights from me. I'll no doubt revisit this in the near future to refresh myself in the truth of the gospel explained in such a clear and encouraging way.

Excellent follow up to the first book Romans 1-7. Picks up where the 1st book left off challenging/encouraging the believer to live out their faith. Provides sound guidance on interpreting Paul who provides sound rationale on why believers should live out their faith; recognizing the challenges the believers have before them yet urging them on.Our men's bible study have robustly discussed these passages to highlight the challenges we face as believers and how we ourselves can be our worst enemy to live out our faith. Yet we are encouraged to continue to pursue being like Christ and living out our faith because of the joy we've been given through Christ's ultimate sacrifice.

I love the Tim Keller explains the scripture. His knowledge is vast and he makes hard teaching accessible to the average Christian. This study of Romans is deep and Mr. Keller's style of teaching is so approachable. I highly recommend this book .

Succinct, to the point, and practical. I do not give many five star reviews since, it really means perfect, but I will give this book and its companion one by Keller for the other part of Romans, five stars. This is a good overview of the book of Romans that is neither too deep nor too shallow. In my opinion, it is best to read through Romans, verse by verse, with a deep commentary (preferably older) and a word study and then go back through it with this book, as it gives very practical, useful expository that is brought home even further when the reader has done much background study. After going through 'scholarly' commentary, this really helped make practical application that is extremely valuable for day to day living. I've given the same review for Keller's other Romans for You book, since they are the same book and study, just two different volumes.

Have not used book yet. Will begin using it at bibke study on Thursday. Did not receive first book ordered, but second order of same book was good.

This book is a wonderful tool for unlocking Romans. It is designed for either personal or group Bible study. Tim Keller’s insights are priceless.

I love Tim Keller and was not disappointed by this series (I already read book 1). Great discussion questions to do on your own or as a group.
