I bought the CGP High-Frequency Words Flashcards for my child in Reception, and they’ve been a really helpful addition to our home learning. The cards are bright, clear and easy for little hands to use. The words are appropriate for this age group and match well with what is being taught at school. I like that the set focuses on common high-frequency words, which has really helped build my child’s confidence when reading simple books. We use them for short, fun practice sessions and sometimes turn them into little games, which keeps learning enjoyable rather than pressured. The cards feel good quality and sturdy enough for regular use. Overall, I’d definitely recommend these to parents who want a simple, effective way to support early reading at home.

These cards are amazing! 4 different colours, different words on the front and back, big letters. My son is in reception and really struggling with his words. We have been sitting reading them for 30 mins. He hasn’t once lost concentration or got bored (normally he’s bored after 5 mins) worth every penny 😄

My girls absolutely love these, it really helps that's little Wandle is used in school too, as not only do we do these together but the twins also role play school with these and don't realise there doing more learning. These cards have helped bring on their vocabulary & language in leaps and bounds.

I purchased these cards to support struggling readers 1:1. They were exactly what I needed. Each card is illustrated with a colourful picture and includes a simple sentence with the word in context. Would recommend.

My little grandson has the attention span of a goldfish. Hes highly intelligent but has no interest I reading, just switches off when you get a book out These captured his interest though and with a few bribes along the way he doesn't mind working through them.
