Great value & oh-so-tasty chocolate swap for low-acid diets
Such a great product! I've recently switched to carob from chocolate due to heartburn issues, and this product has been so user-friendly for someone new to the ingredient. I use this every single day in smoothies! It's milled to a fine powder with a texture almost indiscernible from cocoa/cacao powder, making it a perfect 1:1 replacement for those looking to swap out chocolate in their baking recipes. Amazing taste - best described as a slightly sweet, less bitter version of cacao powder - and blends easily and dissolves as expected; a little will cling and clump just like regular cocoa powder. Unbeatable value, since the entire bag is only about $7 and it lasted me almost 6 weeks. And it's Organic, which gives you some peace of mind in terms of product quality. Try using this in low-acid recipes, or for kid's desserts if you don't want them bouncing off the walls (since cacao has natural amounts of caffeine), or if you simply want some extra fiber and luxurious flavor. Odds are most people wouldn't be able to tell it isn't chocolate :)

This Stuff NEEDS To Go VIRAL 24/7!! Cacao/Cocoa Substitute + NO Caffeine Or Theobromine!
Avoiding caffeine and, sadly, chocolate is not easy! The theobromine in cacao gives me low blood pressure and moodiness. I also run on the dry side, so caffeine doesn't always agree with me either. Enter the world of organic, toasted CAROB powder! One ingredient, minimally processed. This product doesn't contain fillers, preservatives, or "GRAS" chemicals that can interfere with hormones, medications, or metabolisms. The texture is very easy to work with. Skip the nasty added sugar! No additional sugar is needed when making dark carob "chocolate!" Carob is naturally slightly sweet. For frosting or "hot chocolate," try adding powdered allulose for a sweetness bump while maintaining carob powder's smooth texture.Mess around with this! Mix a little bit of organic coconut oil or ghee, a drizzle of non-dairy milk, and this carob powder together over low heat for a delicious mousse to spread over crepes, toast, cupcakes, etc. for a decadent dark chocolate flavor. Pour into cupcake liners and chill for homemade chocolates or peanut butter cups.*Note carob's iron content. Good organic, vegan iron source!

Blends smoothly with water or juice—no gritty texture. Taste is earthy but pleasant. Smell is mild and fresh. Great quality overall, and works well for daily energy and digestion.

Yummy 😋
This is a great vegan and healthy alternative to chocolate. It’s definitely not a chocolate replacement, but if you’re looking to increase your gut health and avoid caffeine and theobromine, this is the way to go. Plus, it offers a natural sweetness (no, not sugary and it’s definitely lower in fat). I love unsweetened Greek yogurt and add this to it. Delicious! 😋Health benefits: improving digestion, managing cholesterol and blood sugar, and supporting bone health. It's also a source of fiber, antioxidants, and essential minerals. The consistency, fragrance and value for money are spot on.

It's fine, just not for me
Carob powder is fine, tastes just like it should, and this package is a good value. Problem is, I realized I don't like carob much. I'd rather use cocoa powder. I feel a little guilty about that, given that the chocolate industry is rife with slavery and exploitation.I actually got this for my partner to make nutritional shakes with. She liked it ok at first, but eventually got tired of the thickening properties of carob powder. She preferred her shakes thinner. So, if you're looking for a flavorful thickening agent, carob might be for you. Especially since it's more politically responsible.

Perfect for home-made alternative to Starbucks Hot Chocolate
I have tried several brands of carob powder (including Chatfield's, Now, Missy J's, Anthony's) and I prefer Anthony's. I only wish it were available in local stores which is why I went looking for alternatives but had to come back to ordering Anthony's from Amazon. It has a deep dark brown color and strong taste. Tastes almost like cocoa powder and combines well with any fluid that has some fat in it such as Oatley's full fat oat milk (NOT their low fat variety). Unlike a full cocoa beverage, a carob beverage (or a mixture of carob and cocoa) allows you to decrease the amount of sugar used because the carob powder has some inherent sweetness.I also like the packaging: easy to open and close without getting a face full of brown dust. Moreover, stays fresh in my cupboard for a few months; I don't really know how long it would stay fresh since I use it almost every day.You can use it alone with oat milk for caffeine-free Vegan beverage. After some experimenting, I prefer to combine my carob powder with cocoa powder, maltodextrin-free coconut milk powder and piping hot oat milk for a satiating hot chocolate (cooled to drinking temperature with some lactose-free milk) . With the latter and an apple for breakfast, I am often not hungry for 3-4 hours, depending on how much I exercised that morning.

Naturally sweet without chemicals
Have tried other brands of carob and this one is my favorite - rich taste, naturally sweet, no additives - just carob powder. Excellent substitute for cocoa powder which is naturally bitter. I use it to boost flavor in smoothies and coffee.

🥰
we love doing a lot of stuff with this so the texture is just the same as chocolate the color is the same. The qualities is so good is definitely worth the money, those not contain sugar at all, but you can bake and do a lot of stuff with this
