I wish I could give more than five stars
An excellent device with a support service better than I have ever experienced. I needed a device that could create a http audio feed. It wasn't clear that this product was capable of doing so - in fact, I don't think it could before I asked about it. I contacted the vendor, and they updated the firmware, responded with a demonstration video to show me how it would work, and it is now working a treat. Wow! I am astounded at the amazing service and could not be more grateful. Perhaps my best ever experience buying a product on Amazon. Highly recommended!

Its a decent device
So to begin with this you need to plug the ethernet cable into your network. The documentation shows the application to get and this can detect and setup the device. Next is to go on the website and update the firmware, you can also use this same programme to update the device with it. Once this is done you dont really need this program anymore. Connect to the device via the webbrowser to its IP.The device as HDMI and audio inputs. but the HDMI does have its own audio channel so the audio port is just for if you are doing extras. The configuration have many options for how your signal is processed so you can tweak these settings to your liking. This combined with having a decent network speed will allow you to stream the signal to external sites such as youtube but you can also just keep the stream internal using one of the other format options provided.I dropped 1 star because even though the device is working great the sales page seems a bit miss leading because i am unable to get this to record from an IP camera, i can only use the HDMI. and upon contacting the support team it was confirmed that this is not a feature. However if you connect this to IVMS then it is detected as a device and its stream can be recorded.Another thing i found to be an issue is using a hdmi splitter. Some work and some just leaves this device unable to detect a signal so it is hit an miss . Plus these are also affected by the resoulution you are running at. for example if you are splitting a computer signal and the computer is running the montior at 4k. this device is not going to convert it to 1080p, it will just have no signal.

Capable, efficient device for tech-savvy users
This unit performed as described and was a fairly inexpensive solution to a problem, specifically distributing a central scoreboard screen to multiple monitors. While I would consider myself as knowledgeable about this technology, a more exhaustive manual describing the various applications of the different protocols would have been appreciated.

Slow and laggy stream
I bought this device but had to return because of high latency and laggy stream. Not suitable for professional broadcast

A bit more tricky for a non-technical person
It’s been a really mixed bag experience with this item as it’s difficult to work out if it’s the device or my non-technical abilities or both that is causing me issues with the device.I ordered this as upon researching these types of devices came up when I was looking at items to support my daughter with her school project- so far we’re at a cross roads with it.Set up I found quite tricky, as well as actually using this device. My brother in law had slightly less struggles getting this up and running for us, but did say he’s not entirely sure about the overall usage of it.Once up and running we’ve used it for some of the project- but we’ve used online tools to help us. I’ve read other reviews saying that their support service is brilliant so I think I might head in their direction next.I’d definitely say that you should know what you are doing when ordering- as on comparison to other similar items this actually appears quite reasonably priced. It also seems to be hard wearing and if the support service is as good as advertised then I imagine it’s a handy device to have.

Great item to view HDMI source over LAN or internet
Plugged unit in straight out of the box and used browser to access the box (address/password on box). Within minutes was able to view the HDMI source over my LAN. Via browser (Firefox on Windows) I was able to do all the set up (time zone etc.) that was necessary. So far not found a use for the setup procedure in the manual which asks you to download an application. Also able to view over LAN using Firefox or Chrome on Ubuntu laptop or android mobile phone. Enormous improvement on the very restricted options on my CCTV recorder.
