mophie Juice Pack car Dock - Made for mophie Cases for iPhone 6 & Galaxy S6 - Black

Very pleased with this purchase. The suction cup is very sticky and pliable and attaches to my windshield securely. Before purchasing it, I was a little concerned that the power cord might not be long enough to reach the cigarette lighter port in my car since mine is in the middle console, back by the armrest. My fears were unfounded. The cord is plenty long; guessing around 3 feet and provides more than enough reach in my car.The phone is placed in the dock by aligning the bottom holes and the micro usb port in the bottom of the case with pins in the bottom jaw of the dock. This takes a little getting used to, but is pretty simple once you get a feel for it. Then you just press the top into place past the top jaw. Once you adjust the length of the jaws, there are no buttons to push to insert and release the phone. The hold is very secure in the jaws and the arm is adjustable, yet firm enough to minimize vibration. I don't use the rotation feature that lets you flip the phone between portrait and landscape (due to size constraints where it is mounted), but it feels like it would work well.Note: This dock is huge, for obvious reasons, but the size didn't bother me once I got used to it.

I was looking forward to having this, but reality didn't quite meet my expectations. :-(The Pros: The suction cup works great, and has not come loose in the several weeks I've had it installed. I first used it in my Toyota, then moved it to my Honda. The installation was easy, and the re-location was simply a snap of the lever and re-setting in the new vehicle. The swivel in the mount and the base work well, just the right amount of tension to hold the unit and phone in place. The unit includes a tensioning adjustment, so you can make it easier or harder to move about. The adjustable angle means it can set the phone so it is easy to access and easy to view. The retainer/release clip works well also. Inserting the phone is a snap, literally, and removing it is simply the reverse.The cons: first, the dock station provides only power, no data, so you must have bluetooth enabled to connect to your vehicle. Perhaps not an issue for everyone, but in many vehicles, the iPod interface is different, and often better, than the bluetooth interface. The second drawback to this phone is related to the first: the power for charging is provided through two metal prongs that contact the charging plates in the case -- the same method used in the desk dock. In the desk dock, this works well, but in the car dock, the prongs are spring-mounted, and don't always make good contact. The spring base is very weak, and easily pushed back. The end result is the phone connects and reconnects repeatedly. To keep the phone connected, you must carefully insert the phone, and tilt the cradle to just the right angle to keep everything lined up just right. Too bad the iPhone 6 case doesn't use the larger contact plate design like the iPhone 5 case. This problem occurs with both the iPhone 6 and the 6 +

This does not consistently work. Sometimes I get a message on my iPhone that says "Device Not Supported" and sometimes it flashes back and forth between charging and not charging, beeping the entire time. So invariably I unplug it and use it as an expensive holder for my iPhone that doesn't benefit from the charging. I am not sure yet whether I will even keep it or return it.

I cant say enough how much I love this. I use it everyday. Placing the case on the dock can be a little of a pain, because you have to line up the dots. But the product benefit outweighs everything, so a win in my book.

This holder isn't really large/strong enough to hold the phone with a mophie ultra battery case on it. The phone moves around, even on the tightest setting and makes it difficult to charge. Also it seems to have difficulty supporting the weight. If I had kept the packaging I would've returned it.

Kinda upset that the new S8 case doesn't have the charge pins. So this car mount has a USB cable permanently attached that is 100% useless to me.

It wont stay stuck on the window very well. The suction isn't that good, outside of that, I rally like it when it is working.

Basically just a high end dock that isn't reliable for charging. Mophie should scrap the magnetic pin system altogether and just use the mini usb port or change the design to be able to use your own cord.

Well built and feels like a premium plastic product. Holds phone perfeclty, and it's very convenient to be able to remove/replace it without any difficulty. Drop one star due to the high price, as is the case (lol) with all Mophie gear. If they reigned in the price a little bit I'm sure they'd benefit from higher sales.

Doesn’t work with fiat 500 no matter what I try!!! I connect through a data cable usually as my car isn’t comparable with Bluetooth other than calls!!

This doesn't stick to the dashboard and no I have tried to return 3 times with no response

Ich habe mich schon immer geärgert, dass ich jedesmal das iPhone aus dem JuicePack nehmen und ein Kabel anschliessen muss, wenn ich das iPhone mit Navigon im Auto verwende.All da ist gelöst. Gegenüber anderen Scheibenhalterungen ist die von Mophie allerdings schwierig anzubringen und zu justieren und vibriert bei der Fahrt doch ziemlich. Dafür ist sie bisher nicht einmal von der Scheibe gefallen oder hat sich das iPhone aus der Halterung gelöst.Das festangebrachte USB-Kabel war bisher immer lang genug. Etwas irritierend finde ich die Leuchtanzeige des Ladegerätes für den Zigarettenanzünder und eine Ladesteuerung scheint das Netzteil auch nicht zu haben.Beim Transport ist die Halterung etwas sperrig und füllt meine Kabeltasche gut aus.
