UPDATE:I have amended this review as I contacted the customer services team and they were very helpful and are sending out a replacement. Assuming the replacement doesn't have the fault below I have changed the rating from 3 to 5 stars...................... Firstly, this light would get 5 stars if not for one issue. The light is very bright, medium soft, very solidly built, however there is an issue with the batteries. It seems that even with two batteries plugged in it only draws power from the battery on the left hand side. So, the light will stop working after 15 minutes and one battery will be entirely depleted and the other at 100percent. The right side battery port doesn't seem to work at all. It's a pity because I was going to get two more to round out a nice portable studio but the battery issue deterred me. I don't know if this is an issue just with my delivery or if all the lights in this line have this issue.

Excellent light! Well built, really bright and really slim, it's the real deal. Bought these alongside a couple Neewer 660 led panels and they went straight back, despite them being 'over twice as bright' these were just as, if not more bright. You sacrifice barn doors but gain extra portability, 100 brightness levels (vs 10), a more flattering softer light and a little bit of extra cash.Would 100% recommend for video or photography work.**UPDATE**This review was left at £52.99. Price seems to have drastically increased and thus poorer value for money

Really nice light for the money.

Great small source light for food, still life etc. Not tried it for portraiture yet. The diffusion is nice, and I clipped another sheet to it to soften more, but made some nice specular highlights. The pivoting head is super useful too. I’d like to try the larger size at some point.Comes in a very well packaged carry bag .

I really like this LED photographic light. I much prefer a round light that produces natural round catchlights, which is why I bought this particular item. It has a good, even, bright light output, which is variable in both intensity and colour temperature. I think it is great value too.

Not had chance to use this yet as is a birthday present for my brother. However I can say delivery was prompt and was a good price.

Great light, very soft coverage, great for location as it runs for hours on the big Sony batteries, you need two get the 8800mAh

A decent and well made product. I'm using the light to help illuminate me on video conference calls, and it works a treat. I bought this as I needed something I could mount and was slim. Larger lighting rigs weren't suitable for my use-case.The light is bright and comes in a very portable and flat package. A control on the rear lets you choose between a warmer or cooler light, and you can also control the brightness. The part I was worried most about were the wingnuts that allow to angle the light - would they be able to take the weight, or would they shift? In fact, they hold very firm, so you can angle the light as you need to.Note that this light doesn't come with any kind of stand, so you will need something to mount it to. There are a variety of ways you can mount it, but you will need something. It isn't self-supported.The light runs either via the included AC adaptor, which is how I'm using it, or via NP-F batteries, which can be found plentifully elsewhere on Amazon.Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase.
