CHARLOTTE TILBURY Matte Revolution Lipstick WALK OF NO SHAME

LOVE this lipstick. Lovely texture and beautiful color. You can truly tell the difference between this high end brand and the drugstore ones I usually use. This one was worth the splurge.

I rarely write reviews unless it is something I feel strongly one way or the other about, and this lipstick is one of them. I have tried countless lipsticks and they all stink, literally. I don't want to smell wax, or any ingredients so purchasing something more than once is a big deal. This is easy to apply, moisturizing, and the color manages somehow to stay put through cigarettes and coffee. I do use the lip liner, and that is not as easy ...especially to sharpen, but does help to maintain the color.

This is my always lipstick and I’m used to paying almost twice the price for it so I was concerned that it would be a fake but it arrived today and by all appearances is authentic.

This lipstick is pricey, but it is the color I️ have been searching for. This is a natural color that lasts and lasts without having to be reapplied throughout the day. It will not dry out your lips, it adds some moisture and protects from drying. It does not feel heavy and does not come off on clothing or eating utensils.

Everyone was raving about the Charlotte Tilbury “Pillow Talk “ lipstick. I ordered it and when I put it on my lips it completely drained the color out of my face. It is a very unattractive shade of lipstick. I guess if you are someone who just likes the nude shades or plain shades of lipstick you would probably like it. I found it to be a most unflattering look. I would never purchase it again and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. If I could give it a zero star I would.

The color is beautiful; I am fair skinned with dark hair and have received many compliments on the color. The hype about the color being universally flattering is warranted. But it has no staying power whatsoever. I apply it with a lipliner as the base, then this lipstick and followed sometimes with a gloss. While most of my lipsticks will last all morning with this routine, even lasting through 40 oz of water, a snack, and coffee, this lipstick was gone after about 2 hours. Given the price, this is pretty disappointing. But if I just needed it for a photo or didn't mind reapplying constantly, I might have given it 4 stars. But the price is too high for the product.
