Quit working after a little over a month! UPDATE: Works fine, my fault!
Quit working just out of Amazon's return envelope. Tried everything I could find online for a fix, but nothing worked. Seller offered no warranty past 30 days. Do not buy! You can achieve the same thing with more reliability with a USB hub.UPDATE ON THIS REVIEW 4/29/2023: First let me state my apology to Herfair. I had thrown in the towel and decided to buy a second printer when saw something I had not considered during all my attempts at resolving the issue. Without a long boring dissertation about how I had missed this in all my efforts, suffice to say that I accidently that my two computers recognized the printer under different names (just an extra word difference). Now the splitter works perfectly. And I must state that just before I was about to correct this review, Herfair contacted me through Amazon asking me to get in touch with them and they would try to resolve my problem. I had not anticipated that kind of support for a relatively low cost item out of warranty. I do endorse the product and kudos to Herfair for their support!

Excellent and Works great
Does exactly what it should.USB 2.0; I use it for my keyboard, instead of a KVM.Works flawless. And its fast. Why Did I Buy it? I found this to work pretty well for me! and it was <12 bucks.I have a dual laptop setup on single Monitor, and also a TV.If things like G-sync don't matter to you, or your reading this and don't know what that is...then a KVM might be right for you. However; for me,1. I R-click on the desktop Enable/disable display as needed. The Displays then auto finds the next source.2. And I flip the switch on THIS cable. Done. Thats it.(If I forget something or whatever, I don't have to hit the KVM button ***which will Flip all Screens and Refresh, I might loose USB Wifi and all docked devices on the KVM will switch!)Instead I can just flip the switch on this cable. For me; turns out to work better then KVM, (suppose I could VNC into the other one, given various company requirements, thats not an option).I haven't Tried this on an SSD, or something that requires Power like a WiFi Dongle.Wouldn't recommend this for a USB HDD either. But for Me it works great!

Simple solution for a simple problem
This switch works better than USB hubs because it's not a hub. I have a USB keyboard that already functions as a hub, so adding another "hub" to switch it between two laptops just did not work well. Connectivity issues, disconnections, problems switching between laptops. This little thing does exactly what's needed. Connects my USB keyboard (that's also a hub for a USB mouse and a USB flash drive) to two laptops, allowing easy switching with a flick of a switch. Excellent, simple product with minimal physical presence. The cords are long enough to accommodate pretty much any situation I can think of on a typical work desk.

Works some of the time.
Cuts in and out. Going to have to return this.(edit - I'm redoing my review, after the seller contacted me and issued me a full refund.) Hopefully I just got a bad one and im the fluke. Thanks again for making this right.

Works Perfectly! No more mouse stutters!!!
This switcher seems to be built quite well. The cords are plenty long enough to run to my two computers and the mouse. If you've ever dealt with the USB hub mouse stutter problem, you may want to get one of these. Whenever I hook a mouse up to ANY type of USB hub that is not built into the motherboard of the machine I'm using, I get mouse stutters. You move the mouse and every so often, it pauses for a second, and then jumps and goes to where you were moving it. It is SOOO irritating and causes mis-clicks. My old solution was to switch the mouse manually between the two computers, or to have two separate mice, one for each computer - neither of which was very useful since both computers are hooked up to the same monitors and keyboard (I work with OS X and Windows machines (almost) simultaneously for development work) in the same space. I also (obviously) tried using different switched USB hubs (KVM type switching devices, etc), which all had the mouse stutter problem. This solved the mouse stutter and multiple mouse problem completely. Now if they'd only stop making laptops with only two USB ports!!
