Bang & Olufsen Beoplay H4 2nd Generation Over-Ear Wireless Headphones (Amazon Exclusive Edition), Matte Black

I used to have a Beoplay h4 first generation but then because of the reviews I took the plunge for the Sonys WH1000xm3 because of the extra codecs,noise cancellation,etc and foolishly gave my daughter my beloved H4s.Boy I was wrong.The Sonys are great for ANC the sound is somewhat good but too much bass and when you try to equalize the sound the codec reverts to SBC so you gain nothing.I will keep them for when we can travel again...I was thinking of getting again the H4s and when I saw the huge discount they're being offered(46%!!!)I didn't hesitate.This are the 2nd Generation and come with a few upgrades(USB-C,APTX codec) but the sound remains the same one I got accostumed to.Great,no sibilances but enough treble,the bass is how the musicians wanted,not some headache inducing stomp.Very happy with my purchase.Thanks Amazon as always.

They aren't ANC, but they don't need to be. They blot the world out. The sound quality on these is really good, it is clear, crisp, and you can customise how they work in terms of of what your music preference is on the app, which also tells you how much battery you have left. They have a nice weight to them, and are well built. Overall, 10/10. I don't have anything negative to say about these headphones.

Very comfortable and excellent sound.

Its comfortable but l am not completely impressed with the switches which are fiddly and a feel a bit suspect. Sound quality is ok although l had expected better. Maybe that's just me. I am not an expert in how to describe its sound qualities but it does have generally nice quality feeling it overall, just that theswitches should feel a bit more robust, this may happen to be a robust product in time as l have only had them for 3 weeks.

Fantastic sound quality. Ordered them and received them the next day. Very happy with them and once they are charged the battery last a long time Would highly recommend.

I had heard rave reviews about B&O products so bought these in December 2020. To say I'm disappointed in them would be a gross understatement. Compared to other much less expensive brands they come in last. My main gripes are no low battery warning, they simply cut out. No pair/unpair indicator (audio). The on/off/BT control is a slide button which is rubbish compared to a definitive push button switch. The quality of the actual material is terrible. I bought a cheap headset to replace these very early on and so have hardly used them at all yet the stitching around the ear-muff has come away and the fake leather is cracked and shabby looking. The only thing going for them is the sound quality which is very good but certainly not good enough to make me recommend them given their overall flaws.
