Triple K Knife Plain Sheath

Overall I am pleased with this item, and would not hesitate to buy one again should I need one.There are many things about this sheath that I like. The leather for instance is thick and decent quality, and the sheath is made in the USA. My knife "6" Buck 119" fit the sheath like a glove. The snap retention was impossible to snap around the Buck's handle, but a couple drops of water on the unsealed side allowed me to stretch the strap by hand and snap it closed. Now it will snap and unsnap without issue and no harm was done to the leather.My one single complaint and the only thing that TK needs to address with their sheaths, is that it should be riveted on the edge side of the blade. One at the top, two in the side, and one at the bottom for maximum hard use and prolonged life of the sheath.Now you might be asking yourself, is this sheath a step up over the factory sheath? The answer is YES. If you have a factory nylon sheath, this thing is light years better. If you have a leather one, it's still way better. You can sheath the knife without the potential to slice through the retention strap. I just wish TK made one for the 143 Paklite skinner. It's without retention strap...

Purchased September 2021. Shipped by Amazon. This is a real triple K sheath. At least the one I purchased on the above date. It's well-made for the price, perfect fit for one of my 3.7 in blade knives and looks very nice. Construction is what you would expect from triple k.

Great sheath. Especially for the money. It's slim and light weight. But not to slim, certay seems durable. Well made, the stiching is even and all that. I give it a 10/10 and not just for the price. This is really what I was looking. Not some custom expensive over the top 10lbs leather sheath. Fits my gerber prodigy very well. Came a little but oily but that's good too.

great, thick, protective, real leather knife sheath. fit great for the Case XX 523-5 knives that i purchased 2 of these sheaths for. amish type quality! highly recommend. can't beat the price either!!

I expected a better quality for the money. the leather is very thin and it is not as rugged as I expected with that price point.

Have to say, this sheath exceeded my expectations. Needed a replacement for a hunting knife, it was so nice I ended up buying two more for my Dad and brother. Great appearance and quality, made in USA, perfect!!

I've been searching for decent quality, replacement sheaths for some of my older well used knives. I ordered the 5" and was really impressed with the quality of the leather, the workmanship is solid. I can wear this sheath everyday for the next 10 years and it will most likely still be going strong. You can't say that about most of the sheaths and sheath kits out there. I just ordered 2 more in the 4" size. I have no problems recommending this sheath.

The sheath I received was not a triple k. I have one and know what they look like. What I received looked like a cheap sheath from India for a child's toy rubber knife. I believe there is another review where this happened and this is probably the same sheath sent out again. In addition to being junk it is also not for a 5" knife. Not the way to go Amazon. This rating is not for triple k, they make good leather products, but a reflection on Amazon. They did however issue a refund promply.

Decent quality sheath to replace the sheath for Cold Steel 3V SRK, which has a glass reinforced nylon sheath that dulls the knife. The Triple K sheath looks great, and seems quite well made. I will probably also buy the 5 inch version to replace another glass reinforced sheath for Cold Steel 3V Master Hunter. Highly recommended.

Thick leather. Sturdy construction. Quality product.
