I bought this because I lost another, similar hat. I am a baseball umpire, and I need something to protect my ears that is accepted by the local association. This item fits the bill. It is black, and thin enough to fit under my cap. With this item, I like that it is slightly "thicker" than the one I lost. I am hoping that translates into a little bit better protection from the cold. I have tried it on, and it does fit as expected, and it also is a little bit "puffier" around the ears, protecting more of the ear than my former hat.The jury is still out, since I haven't actually used the product, yet, but the outlook is good, and, of course, I cannot complain about the price. This hat was 1/3 the price of the former hat.

This product is great. Believe it or not, I use it when I wear my C Pak mask. It is the perfect head gear to put my mask over and I don’t get all those strap marks on my face and head. I recommend it for anyone who uses a C Pak mask.Roger S.

I've had the chance to wear the cap twice while riding. It fits very well; I have a 7 1/8 hat size and the cap is snug without being tight. I also have a one-size lycra skull cap from Harley Davidson with a 3/4 inch elastic band that is so tight that it's too uncomfortable to wear. This cap is made of a heavier material than the H-D cap, but it does not feel heavy when wearing it. The thin elastic band around the edge of the cap is very comfortable and only leaves a slight line which fades quickly when the cap is removed. The sides of the cap cover the tops of my ears about to the middle of the ear; I folded the flaps up during my rides, but this will be nice for the cooler rides in spring and fall.

I use this under my motorcycle helmet. It does take up less space than a bandana and is fairly comfortable. It is a bit loose but since 8 shave my head, that's understandable. It does seem to wick sweat but in the inside and does not breathe very well. Here in Texas, it is a bit warm to not have something that will breathe. Overall though, I'd say I like it well enough. Faster than trying to tie on a bandana and takes up less helmet room.

I ordered this to wear with my hard hat. Overall so far its pretty okay. It does the main job for which I got it, which was to increase the comfort of my hard hat. However, and granted I haven't had it long, but as other reviewers have said...if you have a big head it's a little tight. Not crazy tight, just a little. Im hoping that some time will stretch it out a tiny bit.

Having a small head the fit is pretty good. Added a little extra to head size for snug fit under helmet. Should work as stated in product description. Stays on your head when removing helmet. Quality is good and looks durable should hold up when washed. I would wash it by hand and air dry.Should keep a bald head warmer than a cheap rug. Didn't find that it bunched up under helmet. Should eliminate drafts and cold air. Ride-on!

I have a hot spot in one of my helmets. I’ve tried a number of different things to fix the problem, including several different skull caps. This one is very comfortable and the seams, which are practically nonexistent, go up and down the sides of the forehead rather than straight across. Long story short, it solved my hot spot problem. In fact, I just ordered a back up that I’ll probably use in my other helmet even tho it fits nicely already.

I normally wear a large size hat or helmet. It is a tight fit but covers my head well, from mid brow and over ears. I like that the material snugs the bottom of the ear - got this to hold earbuds in place under bicycle & motorcycle helmet. Does the job. The weight & thermal effect is in-between a maximally thin lycra skullcap and a warmer cap with a thermal brushed interior.

First off it arrived on time..I have only had the opportunity to wear it twice and both times it performed just like I need to..the elastic is not too tight,it fits around my ears ,covers a bit of no lower neck.I use this for commuting to work in Saskatchewan which the temperature is only 7 to 10 degrees in the morning(late august) and it keeps my bald head quite warm.there is no need for me to do any big adjustments on my helmet either than turning the dial on the back of my helmet a click or two.like I said it fits me well,not sure of my head measurements however I wear fitted ball caps which are all size large/extra large and this product fits me good.lastly it seems to be well made,the stitching looks good inside and out and doesn't scratch my head(again...bald).Product description given by company is so far spot on

The Skull Cap by GearTOP fits my head nicely (I'm a 7 3/8 hat size if that's useful) but where it falls down a bit is on the ears. It does cover most of my ears, except for the lobes. I think if I'm wearing it with other headgear over it, it might be held in place, but on its own it doesn't quite cover. Perhaps that's because it's a bit loose around the ears. That being said, it's not a bad fit for something that's "one size fits all". I just got it, so I haven't done any field testing, but so far so good.

Well made ,fitted well and does exactly what I needed . Great product.

This skull cap is well-fitting and stays in place. It keeps its shape and has had a few washing machine trips so far. It is medium weight material and it will be too warm to wear in summer., but perfect for fall/spring, or indoors in winter. No concerns at all.
