Good Product
What I wanted. Only bad comment is shipping. Was shipped in original box, not in a heavier box for protection. Box was dented in two places. Won't know if there was any damage inside as I plan to keep it in its wrapping.

A tracked cargo carrier used in Vietnam and Iraq
The M548 was designed to carry up to eight artillery crew members along with the ammunition supplies for M107, M110, and M109 self-propelled howitzers. This kit includes 32 155mm shells, 24 155mm powder-charge canisters, 24 203mm (8") shells, and 24 203mm powder-charge canisters. These accessories would be great for dioramas with either towed or self-propelled howitzers.I added a small jewelry chain to the end of the front winch cable. The tailgate of a real M548 can swing open either to the right or left, though it is not hinged in this model.Likes: This model is molded in a color close to Olive Drab, so it doesn't really need to be painted. The shell unloading hoist is moveable and has a chain and hook included. Flexible rubber tracks are included.Dislikes: There are no driver, machine-gunner, or crew figures included. There are no M107 175mm ammunition supplies included (though all M107s were converted to M110s after Vietnam). The assembly instructions are sometimes not clear; and I assembled a few parts wrong.

This model has some seriously small pieces and the instructions are not easy to understand.

worst kit i ever built. parts don't fit. no attachment points. never buy an AFV model again.

Just like the one I served on from 1965 to 1979. Arrived promptly and was packaged properly. I'm very pleased. I will return for more things

AFV Club models
I am a long time model builder. I do it for the relaxation and satisfaction. This is my 2nd AFV Club model. And this is the 2nd time I am disappointed it the product. I do not blame the seller, but the quality of AFV Club models is poor. None of the larger frame pieces fit. Maybe if I wanted to spend 2-3 hours per piece shaving and trimming and filing each piece. Tamiya models seem to always fit just right with little trimming needed.Regrettably I won't be purchasing anything from AFV again.
