This stuff is great.
I make eggless salad with tofu and finish it off with this black salt. It looks and tastes so close to real egg salad that people are often fooled. If you want to add the taste of eggs without using eggs just use a little of this. There is enough in the bag to last a while.

Good for scrambled tofu
This is very flavorful with a strong scent - just like eggs. My previous purchase was at an international grocer but they were out of it on my last trip. I use for scrambled tofu but will likely never used the entire package as a little goes a long way.

Great product
This is the best product ever for making vegan eggs. It gives that egg-y smell and flavor that vegans crave. A little goes a long way. Definitely a great value for the quantity.

Not a great choice for homemade puffed rice
I bought this salt to make homemade puffed rice. But the salt was too light and so I couldn't really see the puffed up rice before it overcooked/got brown.. This salt is great for cooking with, but for specific uses like puffing rice, where the visual contrast between the salt and the food is crucial, it might not be the best fit due to its lighter color. Despite this, its health benefits and flavor enhancement capabilities make it a worthy addition to the kitchen for other culinary experiments.

This salt is tasty. It does remind you a bit of a hard boiled egg. But it adds a nice distinct flavor to dishes.

I never knew about black salt but I did a Tabitha Brown "untuna salad" with carrot shavings after juicing. The egg and salt flavor is amazing but oowee the sulfur smell...and you only have to use a tiny tiny pinch and it goes a long way. Also this stuff is saltier than salt lol that's the only way I can explain it but again it has an amazing egg and salt taste

Great to give egg flavor to tofu for vegans
I bought it because I had read about it for egg flavor for vegan foods. My son is vegan and I am not but I make him vegan foods on the holidays so he can come enjoy and spend time with the family. I specifically bought this product to make a tofu potato salad in place of a hard boiled egg potato salad. The flavor was wonderful. It smelled the same as a hard boiled egg potato salad and my younger son who loves meat didn't know I had used tofu and this to make a separate potato salad and ate some at midnight not noticing the difference. It is a great product. When or if I run out I am getting this again. I split it with my vegan son anyway so I might run out and need more.

Exactly what I expected, is just the package could be stronger. Need to keep it in ziplock or jar. Great ingredient if you don’t eat eggs to add that specific taste to your meals.
