super pump
Excellent pump I have 3. One of these pumps is running my 600 gallon stock tank with koi in it . Very quiet on my in home fish tanks .

Great air pump for the money.
This is a great air pump for the money. It early runs 8 airstones in my outdoor ponds. I bought another for backup.

Quiet but powerful
I purchased this to replace a similarly powered aquarium pump that had overheated. The previous pump I had did not have an outer casing and was ridiculously loud. I had to put it into a sound dampening box just to be able to hear the TV at a normal level and even then, it was still loud. I could be somewhere several rooms away and still hear the droning of the motor. It was pretty crazy how loud it could get but that was all I could find to adequately power the number of filters and air stones in our 40gal fish tank. It also ran really hot.Now, with this new pump, I hear a faint blowing air sound, but that's it! It is strong enough to power a double-sponge filter and two air stones and not have to run at full throttle. To reduce some of the vibration sounds, I placed it on top of a wooden box with some foam pads underneath. This significantly reduced the noise of the pump running at high power. I haven't noticed any siginificant amount of heat output either unlike my last pump. I definitely would purchase this again.

Stopped working after 5 days. AVOID!
Bought this as a backup pump for a quarantine system a few months ago because of the good reviews. Finally started using it last week and it completely lost airflow and got 2-3xs as loud as it was at first within 5 days…Can’t return because I didn’t use it right away and the window timed out. Complete waste of money, DO NOT TRUST IT
