DLXMen's Highland Waterproof Down Jacket With Removable Hood

I ordered this just before the current cold snap and wasn't sure how good it was going to be. I didn't know the brand and with the number of fake reviews on Amazon, one doesn't really know how reliable any review is. Still, took the risk and won big time. It's a fantastic coat, really warm and beautifully designed. Plenty of pockets (all with zips or velcro closures), large size means large size - not small, nor extra-large, hand-warming pockets. The hood is removable; so is the fur. So, you can keep both, one or neither. Now, that is what I call good design. The main zip is double - not metal, sadly, but works well enough. It has kept me very comfortable through the big freeze of 2022 and I look forward to using it on slightly milder days as well, unzipped. So glad I bought it! A very warm thank you to the designers and manufacturers.

This coat is quite heavy but very warm, It does get in the way of the seat belt a bit but I can live with that easily! Rain just beads up on it. Very comfortable, lots of pockets, what is not to like? The price is a little high but after some medical issues I don't do cold any more and this fits the bill nicely.

This parka is seriously good quality, it is well made very warm and 100% waterproof and windproof, it is well worth the asking price and much more, this is a excellent down parka at a good price, if you need a coat then buy one it is a excellent buy, you will not regret it.

Very warm jacket and great in late Autumn and winter weather. Easy to re waterproof with Nikwax.

It’s nice and warm, waterproof and comfortable. The only downside is the zip, which is incredibly awkward.

The double zip can be open from top or bottom for cooling.I found I couldn't go walking in this jacket in temperature above 3 Celsius/37 faranheight even with just a t-shirt on.The hood when fully up hangs done to low making it difficult to see where you are going. Previous parka jackets I have had are fitted with a drawstring toggle so you can pull the front of the hood backwards.Inside collar is made of a fleece material which attracts fibres from othe garments.Overall this jacket has been designed for extreme weather and has kept me warm and dry. I like the style and it certainly has performed well. This will be a winter coat only!! My only concern is the main zip, otherwise would have given 5 stars.

Great jacket. The only thing to keep in mind is that the hood does not have adjustment at the back. It is quite deep, so when it's cold, you don't see too much.Great coat though. Bf very happy

1st coat arrived with a faulty zip, supplier replaced immediately but that one arrived with seams not sewn, 4" gap !! Such a shame. Supplier great service, product not great.
