Thank goodness mine is working but you have to sync manually by holding the button down(10 secs.) on the cameras until it flashes amber to add them. Had to turn off night vision for better images using the built-in spotlight. It can be a hit or miss if you buy refurbished or maybe just incorrect configuration. Sometimes app will not find the hub/camera if you have VPN on your mobile device. It has to be turned off.Update: Bought an endurance 256GB Micro SD card, you can now view the videos from the app if you are at home. Set to save on the card and got rid of my subscription. You will not get the fancier options like activity zones and intelligent recognition but still works fine. It will probably hold thousands of hours of recording before it gets full then will replace the oldest. Downside is you can only access the recordings on the SD card if you are on the same wireless network but the cloud recording still works and is good for seven days for free. Overall a very good investment.

Home security. Clear picture instant alert

I have been using Arlo for a long time, and honestly, I have to give up. Even though it supports local recording, mine will no longer just record for the short intervals of motion but now 24/7. This came about after they recently updated their app and gave a 3 month free trial of the subscription. Since the trial ended, I no longer have control over the recording or motion so my MicroSD card is getting overloaded and the cameras on solar power are being drained daily. The AI features never worked all that well, but for a single camera it is 10$/month, for unlimited it is 20$, add on fee's for additional features and it exceeds 28$/month. Also, and this is the real reason why I cannot support them anymore, you are no longer able to get support, even basic, without paying a fee or signing up a subscription, you only have access to their KBs.

I use it to check out my front and back yard.I don’t know about this 4K bs, but alright.It needs to be wired to record 24/7 and it is a $50 subscription.It’s audio pick up is amazing.It’s motion detection is on par, but it’s delayed 3-6 seconds behind my ring.It’s night vision is good.The battery life is one day if you are recording all the time, and longer the less it is recording. Makes sense.

Bought and installed for someone else after a cheaper brand quit working about a year after installation. I came across these first when my landlord had them installed and was very impressed with them. The video quality, super easy setup, so many extra bonus settings you can set up if you desire, that’s what got me researching Arlo. After a couple month of looking into Arlo I decided that I was going to be my recommendation because I want to be confident in the brand I’m recommending to someone else, especially when it comes to security

Setup was very easy. Love that I can view the cameras on my iPhone and my desktop (although not simultaneously for some reason). The range from the base to the camera is not as good as I would hope but to be fair I have many stone walls throughout my home. I ended up using 2 base units which works seamlessly. Image is clear. Motion detect is awesome. I used 4 cameras (2 on each base) to cover the inside of my home in critical areas. Very happy.

I’ve read revirews frim deveral prople daying the same thing but it keeps “forgetting” its settings. In fact, there are quite a few issues that folks are complaining sbout that have been pointed out that Arlo states that they are “working on a fix for” but if thats the case, they shouldnt be selling the product until there are no bugs. I have been a customer for years but won’t keep buying if thats how theyre going to operate. The fsct that they are selling their products with known issues is a shame and a scam. I will update this review if and when these issues are fixed. Arlo should show more concern for its customers.

I’ve gotten a few prior to this and had trouble with the setup or memory etc... but I love these and highly recommend!!! It talks to my Apple Watch too! I’ll be in a meeting 50 miles away and get a notification that says person on front porch! Then I can see it too ON MY WATCH! It can tell the difference between animals, people and vehicles 95% correctly.
