John Frieda Sheer Blonde Color Renew Tone Restoring Conditioner - 8.45 oz

I have very warm toned highlights and I prefer them that way so I have never used a purple conditioner in the past. The last time I got my hair done by stylist suggested I start using something once a week (I wash my hair every 4 days or so). FYI this is a more light lavender shade, not a neon purple that you see in some toning conditioners. I have pretty healthy hair and bounce between drugstore brands for my shampoo, so I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a high-end conditioner. I saw this had decent reviews so I picked it up on a whim. I alternate it with a more deeply moisturizing conditioner, and it seems to be working fine. I don't think it is really "changing" my hair, but I've been using it for two months and my hair seems pretty bright. I might explore other options when I run out of this, just out of curiosity, but I wouldn't have a problem repurchasing.

I used it with the Fenola purple shampoo and loved the color- BUT… it smells SO bad- a really strong floral scent that reminds me of perfume an old lady would wear. Sadly, I just can’t overcome that strong scent so I’m going to have to find something else

I use this combined with Matrix So Silver shampoo, and it helps make the bleach blonde parts of my hair look silver. Helps take all brassy and yellow tones out, and hair smells seeeeeeeew geeeewd!!Just have to leave them each in for a while in the shower. Works the same as other conditioner brands I've tried, but this is less pricey.Normal white conditioner doesn't compare with this. This gets those little leftover bits of brass out for me.I will note also that my hair is actually quite naturally thick in texture. Both sides of my head are buzz cut/ shaved off and my long hair textured when cut.

I usually love John Frieda products but this one was kind of underwhelming I'm not even sure I noticed a difference in my hair color. I bought another brand shortly after and that one worked a lot better this had a very light lavender color. The stuff that worked better was more of a deep purple. I will say the texture of my hair was in the lot nicer though. This stuff actually conditions while the other stuff didn't seem to soften my hair at all. If you were planning on conditioning your hair several times a week this stuff would probably work fine.

Love this conditioner. It really conditions my dry hair. I never let myself run out of it or I’m in trouble!

I am a natural blonde, but recently my hair has been getting reddish tones. No offense to redheads, but I love being a natural blonde. This stuff seems to work fairly well, better than other products I've tried. I do notice a difference when I use it 3 times a week (as recommended on the bottle) but I wish there was a more noticeable result.

This conditioner along side of the matching John Freida shampoo has helped my Blonde hair stay toned! I would always get a little brassy after a while and I don't have that problem when i use these products together. I would recommend Both the shampoo and conditioner to anyone with blonde hair to keep your color its best!

works great to get the brassiness out of your blonde hair. I have ombre hair so my hair ends are blonde. I like to use this to refresh them and make them appear a bit more platinum. If you leave on really long, you will see a blueish hue, but it is so subtle that it really just looks platinum.

Fast delivery and the purple conditioner really brightens the blonde in my hair. Will definitely purchase again.
