Great product
We just got a new basketball hoop but also new neighbors. Bought this to keep the kids from constantly running into their yard to retrieve the ball. Just makes it more fun for the boys so they don't have to chase the ball as much and hopefully keeps the neighbor happy. It's not too difficult to put it together but can be slightly confusing at some points. I'm a short individual and was able put it together and install it by myself without the help of my tall spouse.

Great net! Extremely difficult to put up and take down.
This is a great net. My boys definitely love it. However, to put it up and take it down as a single parent is extremely difficult. They say it’s a traveling net, but it’s not easy taking it down and putting it back up. Quality of the net is great. The ball return is great. Definitely worth purchasing. Keep in mind the XL size is extremely challenging if you’re a single parent.

Works fine, only if they made it black.
Easy to put together, a little wobbly but I guess that slows the ball back. It is bright red, really stands out. I hope the Sun fades it. Why not make black!

Broke in a day!
I was looking for something to prevent my basketball from bouncing off the fence that separates my backyard from my neighbors. This return net looked like a solid choice.I received the item Saturday and started putting it together. The materials looked solid. However I should have known something was wrong. One of the base bars where you set the net to be either bell return (I.e, leaning back) or straight up seem to be a little off. I don’t know if it was by design bit my instinct said something was off. But I managed to get the net set up even though I thought something was odd about the setup. This net is larger than you might think. There’s three bars to raise the net but the design of my backyard basketball hoop doesn’t really work well with this raised all the way up.So I just went with two bars figuring they could block some balls from hiring the fence. It was working alright Saturday. Then today, as I was about to leave the house to go to UPS to ship back another defective item to amazon, I noticed the net was situated at an odd angle. Upon review, a piece of the bars had snapped (see picture).Since I was going to return an item already, I figured I’d return this along the way. Maybe I got a defective item. But I decided on a refund Vs getting another one. I’ll figure out some other way to protect the fence.Seems like other people for the net to work so hopefully mine was just a one off occurrence.

Have help to set up
We had a smaller Rukket net behind our basketball hoop, but the neighborhood kids are all pretty young and horrible shots (as expected for their ages/size). I decided to upgrade to this larger rebound net, because it gives a lot more coverage. I needed a little help to get the second loop around the top pole, but otherwise I assembled it myself (5’4” middle-aged female). It is winter so they haven’t officially used it yet, but I’m very happy with it. We will still use our prior rebound net to keep balls from going out to the street when they play. Great products.

Not good in a windy location UPDATE
The anchors they send are worthless. They pull right up out of the ground. So I bought tent anchors. This morning we have some wind & the net blows back & forth, the rain has softened the ground & consequently have pulled even my tent anchors up. I’m not sure I’m going to keep this net.UPDATE - So now I purchased the screw-in ground anchors. Had to fashion some way to attach the base to the anchors. I used nylon rope, but the wind still vibrated the net so much one day that the base extension on one side even UNSCREWED itself from the net base. I’ve given up on “jimmy rigging” this product. I don’t know what to do next. And it is impossible for my young grandkids to disassemble & reassemble this thing whenever they want to shoot hoops! Can someone help me?

Easy Installation
I assembled it by myself in about 30 minutes, no tools were needed. It is much bigger than I expected and appears to be well made. The net will definitely help prevent balls from entering my neighbor’s property. The return system will only work if you clasp all of the toggles on the slit in the net. The paper instructions say that video instructions are available on rukket.com; I could not find them on their website.

IT WORKS
My 9 year old grandsons were constantly sending their basketballs into my neighbor's yard. He was good about throwing them back but decided to try this. My son and daughter-in-law put it together in about 30 minutes. The lacing down the front did not connect (don't know why) so I used a bungie cord to connect the two parts. The ground spikes are just adequate to hold it down when they playing. If a really bad wind storm is expected, however, it will need to come down. It's portability is questionable. The manufacturer was no help, no instructions in the box. We found instructions on UTUBE.
