Good text, bad binding
Although the text itself has been helpful, the binding is falling apart after only 6 weeks. For over $200, I was expecting a book that would be with me for the rest of my career, not for half a semester. Maybe this is why you can only find the hardcover used - if Wiley doesn't sell the book directly, they don't have to worry about replacing it.

Most useful textbook I have ever owned
Most useful textbook I have ever owned..Well worth the money- I don't even plan on reselling because I know this will be helpful in my future classes.

Okay, but very strange hole punching
This is the binder version of Elementary Principles of Chemical Processes (4e) by Wiley. It's got all the same information as the textbook, but at a cheaper price (and is only black and white). The paper itself is fine, it doesn't seem like it'll rip or anything. However, the hole punching is backwards - that is, when you put the text in with the holes on the left, the book is read right to left... It doesn't affect the reading, but it is certainly strange. Lastly, the hole punching goes through some of the actual text, which might bother some people. From my brief experience with this text, I can figure out that it's missing a simple word like "the", but I haven't read the book enough to know if it has a much more substantial effect on the reading of this text.

DISAPPOINTED.
I really wish I could say I was happy with my order but they sent me a book that appeared to have been found online and printed by them. And it was terrible printing (refer to picture). Some of the pages were even still connected at the top. Very disappointed.

This textbook Felder, Rousseau, and Bullard, Elementary Principles of Chemical Processes, 4th Edition, Wiley is the most useful textbook in chemical engineering. It has all the material and energy balance calculations required for chemical engineering flowsheet calculations. The examples and exercises are very intelligently put and show the immense sincere effort put in by the authors. I shall always be thankful to PROFESSOR RICHARD M. FELDER SIR for writing such a beautiful Chemical Engineering textbook.

I needed this book for my process analysis course, it fits in my binder that I carry with my notes everyday. The textbook is useful when my professor's notes are hard to understand.

There is no doubt about that the book is a classic. However the seller” Jai Durga Store” is a fraud. Quoted 25000 Rs for the book + All the Wiley access. But it was a shock for me to see the book which was in a complete dilapidated condition. It was yellowish, torn at many places, eaten by worms and binding out of place. Of course no access card was there. Within the book there was a personalised letter for me asking not to return the book and talk to him for some settlement. What should we call this practice. It’s unfortunate that such sellers are available on Amazon and damaging its reputation. I request everybody that before buying books please look into the credentials of the seller before placing an order especially if the book is costly. Amazon is getting filled with such frauds these days.

Somewhat overpriced, but it is a must-have for first-year chemical engineering undergrad.
