Well worth the price. Simplifies removal and re-use of bearings.

Used this bearing splitter set to replace bearings on an electric motor. If you use the splitter side, it will literally split the old bearing right off the shaft. If you use the back (flat) side, it'll let you pull a bearing off without damaging it. The really nice thing is you can use the flat side in conjunction with a shop press to press new bearings into the shaft. If you're working on bearings, this is the one to get!

Worked great for larger bearings.

I was very pleased with this product. All the parts and pieces of this kit fit well together. I pulled bearings off of a starter/generator for a golf cart. This hardly strained the puller, but it did what I needed. If I was still employed in the HVAC service industry, I have no doubt this kit would have worked for any of the household and light industrial applications I would have come across, with no problem. This will certainly fail if it is over loaded. I'm glad I bought this as I was uncertain after reading some of the negative reviews. But I've always been one to take negative reviews with a grain of salt, and besides, Amazon has been great on the returns I've had!

+ Found this to be especially handy for just yanking things off of other things. NOt all applications have to be bearing related. You can flip the tool around and use the flat part. I sometimes use it as a makeshift c-clamp type of press. + The edge was exact enough in construction to be able to grab something with only 3mm of material on each side and still apply the necessary pressure without slipping + Solid built - would love to have a non pointy end for the driving bolt

Works fantasitc used it for multiple diff's. Worth the money.

Have used this puller vigorously. Steady bearings, differential carrier bearings, even used it to remove misc lawn mower and snowblower pulleys. I have quite a few OTC pullers, and will continue to buy them. It’s tempting to purchase cheaper, lesser quality pullers that will not last. These will last.

Perfect tool for the job I was working on.

Could be made out of better steel but you get what you pay for.
