Great thermometer. It appears to be accurate and it's easy to use. I'm sure it has a few more features I'm not using, but as far as getting a single temperature it works great.

This thermometer is superb! It was incredibly easy to insert the batteries and set it up. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. The thermometer is very easy to operate, and the trigger is easy to pull and requires very little force. The display is large and easy to read,, even for senior citizens. The batteries last a long time and are a breeze to replace. The thermometer is also very durable and lightweight, so you can easily travel with it. It’s also easy to clean, so it could be used on multiple different people without worrying about spreading germs. The temperature can be displayed in Fahrenheit or Celsius. In short, this is a highly effective, reliable, durable and affordable thermometer. I highly recommend it for personal use or use in home healthcare.

Excellent Easy to use Accurate

I am yet to find a toddler thermometer that is deadly accurate and easy to get a reading on a grumpy and sick little person. This is just as accurate as the many ear or forehead thermometers I’ve tried and I don’t have to actually make contact with the angry little bear. I take a handful of readings and average them out and it seems to give me the gist.

0 stars. Broken. Will not even turn on. Waited until I needed it, to test it out. Now I can not even return it. Tried other batteries. Literally no buttons turn it on. Such a waste of money.

A great way of taking a temperature reading without any oral or physical contact that is a second or so away. After reading the instructions and playing with it becomes apparent how quick and easy it is to use. I never will bother with an oral thermometer and wait ten seconds for it to respond…it’s actually fun for youngsters and oldsters alike.

Night shift nurse here! I work in a place where the thermometers all like to play hide and seek, and damn they’re good at it! I really needed my own fast and accurate thermometer and decided to get a temporal no touch one so I could take temps without waking up my patients. Silly me, I didn’t think to check wirecutter’s reviews first and bought one that had good reviews, but it started never reading above 97.9 degrees. When I checked out Wirecutter, they listed this and two other brands that are exactly the same and stated to buy whichever was cheapest. Well this was cheapest. I’ve been using it a couple months now, even dropped it once, and it still reads consistent and close to the oral temp. It will never be the same, but it correlates. Definitely recommend for accuracy, ease, and durability. Using this at work, I really appreciate the ability to recall more than just the most recent reading. I’ve been known to look at the same temp 4 times before remembering what I saw! It has a good battery life so far too!
