KNIPEX Internal 90 Angled Precision Snap Ring Pliers

I am doing suspension work on a 2002 Honda Odyssey and I have been struggling to remove / install C clips. I went ahead and purchased the Channel Lock Ring Pliers, with assorted tips. They were good for most of the work, but they are having a really hard time with bearing c clips and the axle. After wasting almost 2 hours trying to install 1 C clip, I ordered this. Literally finished the job in less than 30 seconds. I guess it really goes a long way to have the correct tools for the job. Yes it is expensive, but if you are a home mechanic or even a professional you are already saving money on labor, so at least buy the correct tools to save you money. This product is definitely well made and will be a great investment to any mechanics tool box.

These are the best snap ring pliers bar none. I tried three other brands before these to remove snap rings on my golf cart (to completely replace the brake assemblies on both rear tires and only this brand got the job done.

This product is heavy duty and made simple work of a stubborn snap ring. I bought cheaper ones from a local store but all they did was bend. I struggled for 2 hours to get the ring off and no avail. This product removed the snap ring in 10 seconds. What a time saver. Highly recommend.

Highly recommended tool by others who have used it. When I used it, it worked like a charm. It made the job so much easier.

It took an hour to weedle, force and pry a retaining ring out of a hub, so I could pull the bearing. Then another hour to put it back, after the bearing was pressed in the hub. Needle nose pliers, large screwdrivers and various other tools were woefully inadequate. I have snap ring pliers, but nothing on the scale required for massive snap rings. Until I was at a brake and suspension shop and espied very large snap ring pliers. I, immediately, went on Amazon, found these pliers and clicked order. These pliers are sturdy, well made and finished. Large enough to comfortably apply enough force to compress tight hub snap rings. It now takes 1 minute, versus 1 hour to remove or replace a large snap ring...priceless.

The media could not be loaded.  Rigid, and just what you need for removing stubborn, large snap rings. I had one on the back of a 2009 Mercedes wheel bearing that was rusted in place. Liquid wrench, a few taps with a hammer and chisel, then used this circlip plier, and out it came.

I took these straight out of the box and immediately, without any issue at all, was able to remove the retaining ring for a turbo compressor housing. I had previously tried lighter duty retaining ring tools and none were capable of the job, as the force required was very high and keeping the tangs engaged at the same time just was not happening. This tool made that job ridiculously easy. The only drawback is I wish I had more large retaining rings to use it on!Bought this direct from Amazon, usual super-fast delivery. Completely satisfied.

Being a Mechanical Engineer for the last 43 years I only ever buy Knipex circlip pliers. They work where other cheaper pliers dont. They are a little more expensive but are excellent.

brauchte eine sehr sehr sehr gute Zange, um die Sprengringe aus Radnaben (aus Aluminium!) eines 17 Jahre alten KFZ auszubauen - die beiden Zangen die ich bis dato hatte, haben dieses nicht geschafft. Diese Zange hat eine überzeugende Qualität und die Demontage, bzw. Montage der Sprengringe (die auch nicht beschädigt werden dürfen) hat auf Anhieb perfekt funktioniert => ist absolut ihren Preis wert!! Immer überlegen, was z.B. hier eine defekte Radnabe gekostet hätte (Neukauf und Aus-/Einbau ...)!1.000%-ige Empfehlung!

Wer Sicherungsringe ein/ ausbaut ist darauf angewiesen ein sicheres und hochwertiges Werkzeug zu haben.
