Hurricane essential
These are a hurricane essential for all of us in fl/the south! Only thing is they did fade a lot during our first rain bands. Looks like it stayed on enough to be legible today after the storm

Excellent Product, same great thing for 2 decades, however consider finding a better shipping solution. (see images below)
I have used these livestock marking sticks for many years. First order in a long time because they last so long. The product is still the same great, useful tool that I first worked with 21 years ago, however whoever shipped this did an incredibly poor job of packing this for transit.Again the marking sticks are outstanding, and have been for years, I would however LOOK FOR A BETTER SHIPPING SOLUTION, as while it is hard to damage them, it certainly would have been nice to have a box to keep them in. Light duty, a box of these should last you years and years.

Economical Alternative To Tattooing
I raise rabbits, and I've been looking for a way to mark them by litter and gender without having to use a tattoo gun. There are several reasons why I don't want to use a tattoo gun, one of them is price.I tried for awhile to use different colored sharpies, making a small dot inside the ear. But this wore off way too quickly! And then I found these! So happy I did!There's enough of a color variety for me to mark them by litter and gender, and the stuff does NOT come off easily, which is really good. I was able to mark one of my does with a small stripe on her back, which is still there weeks later. I can't be more happy that I found these!Keep in mind one thing: You DO have to slice off the end of the marker before using it. It tends to dry and kind of seal, so make sure you cut part of it off before using!

Thick and bright
I liked that it was very bright and vivid. It was much thicker than expected. While writing we made a mistake and was able to easily wipe off with a wet rag. Although we were able to wipe off it wasn’t as difficult or easy. You could say in between, we were able to brush the coat and it did not smear

These markers would be very good for just a few hours however we were marking ...
These markers would be very good for just a few hours however we were marking horses for ID during a hurricane. They did not stay ledgible overnight without rain and sweated off overnight. So they really weren't "all weather" but would be good for marking for and event such as an endurance ride.

Good but messy
I’m happy with the product but wish there was a cover on the tip. Several arrived a bit mashed and the red ink got all over the package

Good for hurricanes
Used this to write my phone number on my horse. Weathered the hurricane wonderfully! The hot pink showed up nicely on my black varnish roan mare. Was easy to apply. Stick is an inch wide.Brought back memories of my childhood. 9 sticks arrived in a decrepit box, the other three were outside the decrepit box. All this was in a manilla envelope, just bangin’ around. Just as if I had gone to the feed store and picked it out myself. Hey, it’s farm critter stuff. Doesn’t have to be neat to work wonderfully.

Do not buy this
This product works fine, but don’t bother buying it from Amazon. The box that came in was all smashed and all the paint were rolled all over the place, and a hell of a mess

The box and the package was damage and missing two pieces (only arrive 10 pcs)
