look it up on YouTube there is a video that reads this book word for word. That, and you won't have to see all the glaring spelling mistakes in the book.

The book gives a short introduction to Lua, which is sufficient for beginners, in my opinion. But, there is a dangerous typo at the end of the book. If you enter the URL to the promised downloadable code (http://sixfigureteen.com/Luabook at the time of my reading), it leads you the download page of an ebook called "SPECIAL REPORT: 10 Strange Deaths of Vladimir Putin". However, amazon page redirects to the correct link, http://sixfigureteen.com/luabook. I didn't notice the subtle difference before I checked twice, so I first thought it was a malicious attempt for a political cause.Capitalization and typing errors are more than this in this book, but this is the one which might have an impact beyond the reading pleasure.

Needs an editor
There are many typos in this book, and the grammar is poor. This makes it extremely difficult to read and learn from. For example, on page 54, the author provides a code example for a function, and forgets to add ()! Would not recommend this.

Decent summary
Quite good if you`re familiar with coding in general - I wasn't so it`s not too good for me.

New high in lows.
Not worth the paper it is printed on. Absolutely full of errors. I sort of knew it was going to be at the low end of the scale, but this redefines where the low end of the scale is. Terrible. Author Kaufman must have written this in an afternoon, and never even had it proof read. I won't even give it away to anyone I care about.
