Awesome book.
I love this book. I have crohn's so this book has been so helpful. I don't have a dietitian that I see for my issue. This book is written by a dietitian and it has diets to follow during a flair up and when in remission. She also gives good advice about the disease. It's very well written and easy to understand. My gastronolgst didn't give me much information on diet to follow for Crohn's so I'm greatful for this book.

Perfect Introduction and Easy!
Having been thru so many issues, testing and doctors this book provided much relief in terms of what to do, what to eat, all the basics to navigate thru this being so new to it and finally able to understand. It truly gives you more knowledge that you might expect and gives much need comfort and support knowing you can actually eat things! I've tried the soups, cookies, salads and have much more planned ahead. All have been super easy to make in such little time. Highly recommend

Great Resource
This book is very helpful when you need to know what foods is safe to eat when navigating Crohn's. It's well written and easy to follow and understand. Great purchase for helping my oldest have less flare ups and more options when it comes to eating foods without the pain associated with having Crohn's.

Easy, Delicious Recipes For REAL people
This cookbook has recipes for everyone’s taste - and every single recipe is made with ingredients you can get at your local grocery store - no need to go to the “high end” grocery stores looking for ingredients you’ve never heard of.I was thrilled to see that I could actually prepare and eat a delicious meal that won’t cause a flare with my Crohn’s disease.Thank you, Amanda Foote, for writing a cookbook for REAL people with Crohn’s disease - not a cookbook with recipe ingredients that I have never heard of and can’t find locally. You are a treasure!!

Could've been more up to date
Nothing in here about feeding organic meats and veggies. The root causes of crohns and any IBS are likely seed oils, plastics, PFAs, and herbicides/pesticides. The food suggestions are good but I wish they'd covered why it is important not to eat them unless they're pastured chicken and/or grass fed beef, for example.
