Love this cream. It has all the compounds that sooth and heal any sensitive areas. The thick consistency makes it a great protective layer. Life saver.

I grew up with this cream in Germany. My mother used it on me when I was a baby, and it stayed a part of my life afterward. I'm so glad I finally found it here in the USA, even though I had to order it, since it's not to be found anywhere locally. This cream is very thick and rich, so you don't need a lot when you apply it. In my opinion it's the best not only for baby's bottom, but for people of all ages who need to apply a healing cream to small wounds, scrapes, etc. It will soothe the skin almost immediately and encourage the healing process. It can be used openly or covered with a band aid. If you choose to use it on your face, use it very sparingly, since it is so thick. It will not disappear into your skin like a moisturizer does, and it's not meant to be used as a base under makeup.

Originally found this cream in Canada when my son was small. We were traveling. He had terrible diaper rash, and nothing seemed to work. We went into a pharmacy there, and found Penaten. Since we'd tried everything else on the shelf, we bought a tin. Applied it one time at bedtime, and when my son woke up the next morning, the diaper rash was completely gone! It was almost unbelievable. It's from a German company and has a lot of natural ingredients. We keep a tin of it in our medicine cabinet at all times. All ages of the family use it for a variety of minor skin irritations. A truly amazing product.

Nothing better for preventing diaper rash or sun damage anywhere on the body. Several generations of my babies on both continents have grown up with Penaten cream. Nothing better to protect sensitive skin. It can be used very sparingly and lasts forever. My babies are all grown up, so I now use it myself on my "sensitive parts" (By the way. Penaten are the names of the Roman gods that protect the household. We learned that in school) I was so happy to find Penaten Creme at Amazon.

Penaten cream is a great product for minor healing wounds and irritations. Better than Vaseline / Aquaphor type products. However this can had been out in the heat and melted. I only hope the heat altered the composition and effectiveness of the product itself.

Have used this product for years on grand babies. It goes on thick and stays. Works great at preventing or clearing diaper rash.

This is the best cream to use for any rash. Soothing and quick. I started using it 40 years ago for diaper rash on my son. Still use it today for dry skin and eczema.
