Good quality has so far held up durable
Game changer for me. This is actually my first brush that I keep in my shower so helpful makes a huge difference. I have hair past my line thin to fine hair. Can definitely see a difference as I’ve began to use it more. Not too rough at all, I use it after I condition my hair so I did not run into my hair being tangled, but overall it’s a quality product that is durable

Interesting hair brushes
It does a good job, works as claimed... But, for me personally it took some getting used to. I'd been using the Conair Detangling Brush for wet or dry hair since they came out years ago and loved them. Unfortunately, I have really long, very thick, misbehaving hair (and my daughter got it from me, for which she is less than thankful for lol not that I blame her) I always ended up having to get a new one every year as the bristles would wear out and get to where they wouldn't even go through my hair before going sideways. I stumbled upon these brushes while looking for new ones for my daughter and I and decided to try them after reading the info and a lot of reviews. I hadn't seen or heard of them before so I didn't realize how popular they apparently are. Now that I have gotten used to it I can see why. This is a good brush, though a really odd looking one. It looks like a rake, according to my daughter, lol. It took getting used to for both of us after using the other type for so long. This one pulls more as it has resistance that the ones I was used to didn't, but even though it pulls some and had me feeling a bit tender headed for the first few days it didn't break or damage my hair. I blame my old brush for my head getting tender so easily, it didn't used to. I think the fact that the bristles didn't have much resistance let my scalp sensitize due to lack of stimulation. Which is why I decided to give this brush an honest try even when I was a touch sore after I used it for the first few days. It does a good job of not breaking hair when being used and I like how easy it is to clean. Plus, no more issues with water filling my brush inside the bristle pad in the shower. I love the big shower comb that came with it and the hair clips are about the neatest little things for helping hold hair while cutting or styling it. I've never seen ones like that before. Only the ones that stay straight. I love the hinge on these. Overall, a nice little set and my daughter and I are both happy with ours.

I was surprised it works so well
My children are blessed (in my opinion and cursed in theirs) to have heads full of thick, beautiful hair. A couple of them also have curly hair. They all absolute hate having to care for their hair. Especially my youngest two who are prone to waking up with tangled messes. (One has curly hair and one has straight hair) We have spent a small fortune on different hair products and brushes, trying to find one that works. Especially brushes. When I saw this one on Amazon, I thought I’d give it a shot. When I received it, I’ll admit, I was less than impressed. The box looked like some flea market box, the brush didn’t look impressive either. Then again, it was only ten bucks. Aesthetics aside, I gave it a shot. It comes with a piece of plastic that stabilizes the brush. The brush is notched on the spines of the parts that hold the bristles; so you can determine what setting works best for your hair. The bracing part felt a little weird going on. I was worried I was going to break it. I got it on and went and got a kid. Surprisingly enough, it worked quite well. My son’s hair is a little past his shoulders and is literally three or more inches thick. His hair has to be put into sections to get it brushed properly. I am pleased to report that this brush was able to reach all the way through in one swipe. It very gently separated the tiny knots and tangles that always hurt so bad. It doesn’t pull or rip your hair. It doesn’t get caught in it. It slips right through very nicely.I didn’t expect much at all when I purchased the brush. I assumed it would probably end up in the back of a drawer or thrown away. I am so grateful I was wrong.

It Really Works!
This set really works. The brush is beyond excellent except for ONE thing....it has a rather unpleasant odor. I purchased the green brush set as it was on sale at the time. Perhaps the odor is specific to the color/dye, I don't know for sure.. The green set is still cheaper than the other colors at the writing of this review. That is why I gave a rating of 4 stars. The odor does NOT stop me from using it, however. The brush is easy to use and is excellent for my very curly, long (back length), thick, frizzy hair. I used to struggle after every shampoo to get the knots out and ended up losing a lot of hair in my comb. Then I purchased this beauty...it made it so easy to brush through my hair gently and easily with minimal hair loss. It literally takes me less than half the time it used to take for me to do so before this purchase. I follow up with the yellow comb going through my locks easily. The brush works very well with both my wet and dry hair. An added bonus is I get a scalp massage every time I brush these crazy, unruly locks I was blessed (?) with! Thank YOU...I am sure its a good thing for my scalp! Brushing my hair first thing in the morning is now a breeze!!!Now back to the odor....I tried soaking the brush in vinegar and water for two days, leaving it out in the sun several hours for 3 days, washing it with all types of soap...it helped just a tad. My hope is with time, the unpleasant smell will fade. As of now-- one month later, the odor is still there, but muted. I can't help but be a tad concerned about the chemicals in this plastic causing this peculiar odor. The odor is only in the handle of this brush...the comb has no odor at all..t'is a puzzlement as I've not seen other reviews sharing this odor issue. Oh well...its sill worth a purchase but I felt obliged to share this.
