I ordered this Himalayan Chef Parboiled Basmati Rice on Amazon since it’s impossible to find quality basmati in my small town, and I’m so glad I did. Quality - Top-notch stuff. Cooks perfectly every time without getting mushy. Grain Length - Nice and long, just like real basmati should be. Gets even longer when cooked. Cleanliness - Super clean right out of the bag. Barely any debris to pick through. Grain Size - All the grains are pretty much the same size, so everything cooks evenly. Aroma - Smells amazing while cooking. That nutty, authentic basmati smell fills up the whole kitchen. Value for Money - Totally worth it. Yeah, it costs a bit more than regular rice, but the quality is way better and having it delivered to my door beats driving hours to find decent basmati. Honestly, this has become my go-to rice. If you’re in a small town like me and miss having access to good specialty products, this is a solid buy.

This is the best rice..quality and taste. I had some issues with ordering two 5 bag orders. Two missing. These were so heavy that box came dismantled and 3 had air sealing broke. I wanted to reach out to pay for 3 bags I accidentally got extra when asking for 2 missing bags...so if company sees this please contact me! I want you to stay in business ;) Amazon would not let me pay.

So disappointed and annoyed. The description sounded great and I thought I was getting premium quality rice. What I received was an open bag that was partially taped shut. Rice had leaked into the delivery box. Completely unacceptable. This is a safety and quality concern.

I purchased this a few weeks ago and recently cooked some. Having tried various brands of Basmati rice in the past 20 years, I can confidently say this one is the best. I am glad I decided to explore other brands instead of sticking with the same kind for years. I highly recommend it and intend to buy more in the future.

I thought "rice was rice". I bought this and WOW, it cooked up perfectly in my rice cooker! Tender, extra long grains of rice with great flavor. I've been eating it plain its so good! Shared with a coworker who loves it too. Its the BEST tasting rice I've ever eaten. It even looks perfect--fluffy, tender, individual grains--not a mushy bland blob. Made in my cheap rice cooker--looks like it should be in a magazine and served at expensive restraurants. Served with cashew chicken, served cajun lima beans and sausage over it, and next will try it with chickpea curry.

The package had a whole and lost almost a cop in the box it was packed in....that cut of rice went to the birds. Not "extra long" as they claim! Not aromatic at all. Apparently from these two falsely claimed...decent rice. I will not buy it again.
