Women's Twist Front Maxi Dress

Love this dress so much! I get a ton of compliments. It is flattering, feminine and drapes beautifully. I am not a girly girl or high maintenance but this piece instantly puts you together. Also, LOVE the green floral one.

I have 2 of these. They are soft and comfortable and even flattering.I usually wear an xl in other brands but in Amazon essentials brands, I wear a large.Despite other people saying it is sheer, this wasn’t my experience at all. My feeling is that if it is too stretched to fit like a body glove, it will stretch out and then possibly be sheer. My fits well, and is slimming, form fitting, and not baggy, but isn’t see through at all.Really wish for more colors. Would wear this every day if I could. Looks pretty enough for a casual date but is comfy enough to hang around the house in too.

I am 5'9" 165lbs and bought the large size and it fits great! It doesn't come to my feet but is within 2 inches, so that is as expected. I am a little surprised there are not hanging strings inside as it has enough stretch in the fabric that I don't want it to stretch on the hanger, but other than that, I've very happy with my purchase! Beautiful green/navy print, flattering style and short sleeved! I would probably buy more if there were more print options. I'm always afraid with the solid colors that all the unflattering bumps and curves will show.

I first bought this dress in the navy/green floral. I absolutely loved it! The fit is flattering, and the material is nice and comfortable. I liked it so much, I bought it in the coral color. The color was absolutely beautiful, and I wanted to love it as much as the first, but it was WAY too see-through! I would have to buy a full length slip to make it wearable, which defeats the purpose of a comfortable summer dress.If I could, I would give it 3 1/2 stars: 5 for the first dress, 2 for the 2nd. Again, the style is flattering, and the fabric is comfortable, but I think the darker patterns are more opaque and therefore wearable.

I'm struggling with my COVID 20ish or so (working on that) and bought a large. Prior to COVID I wore a medium in just about everything, and while I still fit in my medium dresses, on me they're a (literal) stretch and just not as flattering as the same dresses in a large might be on me. I'm probably hanging in the 10/12 size range these days. I'm decently busty with wide hips, so I was looking for a comfy maxi dress that wasn't clingy or too low-cut. I planned on wearing it to an all-day seminar for my diocese, so it needed to check all those boxes.I am 5'7", and this dress skimmed the top of my feet while I was standing in flats. Anyone shorter than, say, 5'5" may have issues with this dress being too long without hemming or wearing heels.I wore this dress (the green and navy one) for over 12 hours two days ago, and it was very comfortable the entire time, regardless of how I sat in my chair (I changed positions a lot over that time).I didn't find the dress to be see-through, but it also was not clingy on me. I'm sure if I'd bought a medium, it would've ended up stretched out in parts, and that might've become an issue. It's on the thinner side but not super thin or anything I find objectionable.Even with a bigger bust (34DDD or 36DD), I did not need to wear a tank or bandeau underneath to raise the neckline. The neckline was perfectly modest without being overly so, in my opinion, as it did not show any cleavage or really anything questionable. I spent the day with clergy and didn't feel self-conscious at all.The only downside for me was that there was quite a bit of material between my waist and the waist of the dress. I have a small waist, so it's possible that having the dress small enough to fit my waist more snugly may have made the whole thing look weird and/or clingy. In other words, it wasn't a perfect fit, per se, for me, but it was pretty dang close. It didn't come off as frumpy, and it's hard to beat the price and speed of delivery, especially for something so comfortable.If it says anything to how much I like this dress, I just ordered another one in another color.

Fabric is very sheer & see-through. Sizing runs small. Potentially cute dress but just not the same quality as other Amazon Essentials dresses. I returned this dress, just too sheer.

I am keeping the dress. It is beautiful no complaints at all, everything was perfect. I give a 5 start.

I wanted to review this dress because it really is quite nice. For me whether others like it I think it's going to come down to body type for different people. The dress is well made, good material, good color / not see through, but for me (tall, skinny) even a size down just hung on me. But I really recommend it - I think it would be really flattering for other body types as the other review pictures show.

When I ordered this I didn't expect the quality that I got. It's really well made with a quality fabric. I'm normally a size 16/18 UK so ordered a XXL. The stretch in the fabric ment that it fitted me but was definitely more a size 18/20. Also as I'm 5ft 8 when I order long dresses they don't always fit like that but this covered my feet! This will definitely be a well used item in my wardrobe as it could be used for a casual occasion or worn with heels on a night out. 100% recommend.

Nice colour and style, but way too big and made with cheap flimsy material (can't imagine it'll wash that well) that clings to every lump and bump. To be honest I wasn't hugely surprised as you can't expect top quality for this price, but I decided to give it a go due to the positve reviews generally for the Amazon essentials range. I ordered several items (a couple of dresses, t-shirt, tank top) in M or L and apart from one item they were all pretty shapeless, clingy and differing in size (ie. one medium was huge, one was just right, and the large sizes differed from one another but were all much too big). This range is worth a go if you're after cheap and cheerful and are not bothered about covering lumps and bumps, but otherwise probably best to steer clear.

This dress exceeded my expectations. Very flattering fit and hangs really nicely. It is true to size but very long. I’m only 5’3” and had about a ft taken off it!! Would recommend
