Not for absolute beginners
I haven't finished the book but, this has been my experience. The bad.-riddled with typo's and errors-some lexicon isn't explained, where I feel it should-the verbiage/speak of the author doesn't translate/convey well (it's not a traditional manor of speaking English)The good.-sweeping overviews that help to describe what vantage to take when perceiving cpp and it's components (I have found this to be done well)-Binding and paper is not fancy, but is not complete garbage, like some. It's large and has plenty of margin for notesIn essence, the book is exactly what it claims to be. It's drawbacks are that it's difficult to read. Though, the simplicity and perception of the author make it very easy to understand the subject. Is the value to price reasonable??? I believe so.Would I purchase this book again, or over others??? Maybe. I'm not certain what else is out there.Do I feel bad about this purchase??? No. I just wish it wasn't this difficult to read.
