It heats pretty good.
I bought this unit knowing it would not heat the 850 sqft. Of my well insulated shot. So here's the scoop. After unpacking and testing on a workench and heat came out I used the mounting bracket to mark the screw locations on the wall and drilled pilot holes for mounting and put in the screws leaving room to mount the bracket. Step 2 I mounted the bracket to the enclosed strap I mounted earlier. Step 3 I hung the unit and bracket on the wall and secured the screws and plugged it in and turned it on. At that time the outside temp had come up from 28°f to 40° f. The shop was 50°f. In 2 hours the inside temp was 66°f. Mind you the ceiling in the wood shop is an average 10 ft. That's why I give this unit 5*s. Heat output is very good even if it won't fry your face 2 ft in front of it. Very safe and adequate. Temp only 3*s as it does not have a thermostat. Only 3*s because I know a lot of people don't know that a garage heater is not a main source of regulated heating. Noise level got 5*s but if you don't know about garage heaters you'll disagree. This one makes the noise of a 20" shop fan. You can carry on a conversation about 3' in front of it and don't need ear plugs. It's easy to hang and use and can heat better than I thought it would. But if you want 80°f on a 20°f day in an unheated 2 car garage, forget it and buy a 20,000BTU heat pump. Oh yes, actual rating is labeled as 3750 Watt so your 20 amp breaker is plenty good between 208 and 240 volts.

Does not perform as advertised
It blows well, it does plug into the proper ports however the coils only get hot when fan access is covered. It barely blows any significant heat even when dial to max. I have a 20 x 20 x 10 garage equalling 400 square foot and 4000 cubic feet. This heater was not worth the price nor worth its efficiency rating. It is however, decently quite. The device never got hot enough for its auto shut off to work even at its lowest settings. Assembling it was relatively straight forward when looking at the diagrams but the directions were hard to read. Its ergonomics and natural stance makes it quiet uncomfortable to place anywhere given its relatively short cable at only 3 feet long.

Loud but effective
The heat output is fine. It raises the temp of my 10x15 greenhouse sufficiently. However it is a loud fan that I can hear even outside of the greenhouse, and it runs continuously, not just when the heating element is on. It is easy to set up and mount to a wall or ceiling. It also has a base that will let it sit on a surface. Solid, well built, compact. Did I say loud?

Good, safe heater!
I've always needed a way to warm a room or two in our house in case we lost our electric heat, this heater fills the bill! I have it hooked to a portable generator, and it heats our family room and kitchen very nicely. Granted, these are kind of` small rooms, but it works for me! We once lost heat during a very cold winter night, and this heater kept us very comfortable. I use it strictly as an emergency heat source, so keeping the house 80 degrees, isn't my aim. I also feel very safe using this heater, unlike my previous experience using propane heaters, no CO or smell using this heater, great for backup!

Fan always on, decent heat
It’s only 3750 watts, but puts out decent heat considering the high fan output. The fan runs all the time until you turn the switch off. The thermostat just controls the power to the element (when switch is on). I’m using it in our apartment on the air conditioner plug to warm up the house when we get home and then use regular heaters to keep it warm. it’s louder than the in wall Cadet heaters, but it is a shop heater so don’t expect whisper quiet. Overall it seems to work well!Started using it in the shop and It brings my 22x24x9 one window insulated shop up about 10 degrees F in 30 minutes. I like the heater, just wish it was quieter.

Dang
I got my heater all hooked up just an hour ago. Doesn't blow very hot. The garage temp is right at freezing. I'm not sure I want to wait a couple hours to see what it will do. Not too excited about it. Sometimes, I may only do a project that takes 15 minutes. Who wants to wait two hours. Hmm...what to do...

Great garage heater.
Works well either sitting on the floor or hung on the wall. It has adjustable heat output. However, it does not have a temperature setting. A quality build.

Trash
Puts out less heat then a desk top heater.
