My 2nd pair
I love these ankle weights. The weight is accurate, these ankle weights are very comfortable and easy to put on and easy to remove. They are durable and affordable. These are actually my second pair my first pair were 5lbs.

Size!
The Velcro is very tough! So good/bad. Stays in place but hard to remove. Without any added weights the size in way too bad and cant' wear it around my ankles. But if I add 3 weights to each then it gets tighter but still kind of big. So be careful when wearing them around!

Great for at home work out, some adjustment for small ankles
I’m petite with smaller than average (for an adult) ankles and at first hard to keep on because the straps went beyond the corresponding Velcro region, even with all the weighted bags put on. I figured out I could make the straps cross (top attaches with bottom and vice versa) and they fit me better. After that, they stay on well with or without tall socks, no issue with chafing or sliding around too much. It was great for at home conditioning and strength training for ski season.

These are awesome. Strong velcro straps.

Great weights
I needed a heavier set of leg weights. These are large enough, that I can put them above my knees and take my knees out of the exercise. These weights work really well for what I need.

Weighted leg warmers 20lb pair, updated review love 10 lb pair for being smaller
Update bottom-I saw the size but it didn't register in my head they were that tall. I am still on weight 2-4 lbs of 10 lbs per leg but have tried using it with all 10 lbs per leg and just toddle around the house. My arms handle carrying them around flat better then wearing them wrapped around my ankles. They are quite cumbersome to put on, I have problems pulling the weights out of the pockets and putting them back in because of the tight fabric is but they need that space to be tight or they would lose stability. I don't use them as much as my dumbbells because they are a challenge to put on at the moment but as I get stronger they should be easier. I use them for squats a lot, resting flat in my arms and wrapped around my ankles when I need to make my cardio harder for a day. I have tossed both over my shoulder and walked around the house with them. My level of exercise is beginner strength training, step platform cardio and can bike for hours on higher levels on my exercise bike. I do wish I had bought the smaller 10 lbs pair set first and worked my way up.They are well made and very durable. Velcro is strong. Had them for three months now, used for two months. P.S. do not suggest using while on a bike. Objects in motion tend to want to stay in motion and gravity works well.Update: I purchased a smaller 10 lb pair and have used them for almost a month. I really like using them better because it they are *smaller* and lighter than the 20lb pair. I kept the 20lb pair because I still use them for squats and other exercises. The velcro and fabric are still holding up great. I turned my review from 4 stars to 5.

The velcro strapping setup is too complicated and takes too much time to get ready.
UPDATE – Today (1-2-2024), I figured out how to use the two straps on the news set of ankle weights so they'd work. Now, I think one strap is much easier to use. It took me longer with more difficulty to use the two straps properly, even after I taught myself how to use them the right way.Since the old ankle weight set’s single straps wore out, I've had time to think about the two choices (one strap vs two). I used the first set of weights with one strap for more than 20 years, and I should have bought a new set with one strap. Still, at the time, I didn’t know one strap was faster and easier to use than two, and at 78.4, I doubt I’ll be around in twenty years to turn 98.4, and find out which product lasts longer. My recommendation: get an ankle weight set with one strap. And I’m not going to throw the old set out yet. I’ll keep trying the new, double strap set for a while to see if I get used to it and can speed up the time it takes to strap them on each ankle before I make up my mind.ORIGINAL REVIEW (a week old) starts here:The reason I bought this weight set is because the velcro on my old set wore out and stopped sticking. The old set had one long strap that took no learning curve to figure out when it was new.I thought this new set with two straps might work better and last longer. Now I'm thinking I made a poor choice. The first time I used this set a few minutes ago, I had to stop my exercise routine and get needle nosed pliers from the garage to pull the velcro loose. Then after wasting time to figure out how the straps were supposed to work, and not wanting to waste more time, I twisted the straps at the base, so I could easily attach them to the other side of the velcro, in a similar method that my first set of ankle weights used with one strap. That did not work. While exercising, this set was too loose and slid down to my knees. I cannot recommend this product unless you are already familiar with it and know how the straps are supposed to work. That means if I keep this set, I have to figure out how the velcro strapping was designed to be used so it works.I'm a firm believer in making stuff easy and this set failed my easy test. I do not recommend this product for that reason for someone who hasn't used this brand before.

Good quality
I bought these to use while doing leg lifts. I purchased the 12lb (6lb each). I'm a small woman and I took one of the weight packets out and they still fit around my ankles. If I wanted to take more than one weight packet out they would be too big for my ankles but I didn't have any intention of taking more than one out so it works for me. They definitely can't be used around my wrists as mine are too small. The velcro is great quality and the strap is extra long. They are big and bulky but that was expected with the weight I purchased. Overall I'm quite happy with them.

Great product
These are nice ankle weights but I just ordered the wrong kind for my use so had to return them. Return was easy!

Good but possibly mislabeled
Product is good quality and functional. However I suspect the total weight was mislabeled, I.e. the label on the bag said one weight but the product inside was the next size down. For my purpose (elderly parent) it's good enough so we didn't bother with a return/exchange.

Excellent
Very disappointed. The product was what I ordered but too bulky.I returned the item the next day and also ordered another type of ankle weight.I paid $39.09 for the ankle weights but when I received my credit ,it was only $20.51.Why is there such a discrepency in the credited amount ?I will be reluctant in the future to place new orders if that is the way Amazon conducts business.
