We bought a bunch and set them up around my parents house when my mum started getting bad dementia. It was an easy way to see the whole house from a phone and check up on where she was and what she was doing without following her around, which she didn't take kindly to.I have some of the Wyze cameras also, that are physically the same, but are sold by the Wyze brand only in the US, and come with different, and maybe slightly better, software.

When all working, is very good. However, this seems to crash around once every week or so. Often needing rebooting several times before it all comes back online again. Also an issue, is fake motion detection from anything passing a window, even with black out blinds. It seems to pic up the slightest shadow or light movement.Other than this, it all seems to work brilliantly. Just a shame it keeps losing connections to sensors etc and needs rebooting so much.

Ive had the kit for about a month now, I find the door sensor fussy where its located... the motion sensor detects random movement which hasnt happend, plus you cannot change the sensitivity. They have both gone offline for no reason 3 times, but both show full signal?.. You have to reset by removing the communication unit from the camera, then back in again. To use it as a security device is not a good idea due to the offline issues and the random triggers!!

The hardware is great for the price but the range isn't very large unfortunately. But pritty useless without Alexa routines as all they do is send a notification to your phone.

After reading other reviews I decided to buy this for my small garage unit. Unfortunately the shape and attachment options make the sensors unsuitable for most surfaces. The adhesion is quite weak and if you should ever need to correct the position due to placement issues not being suitable, you can forget about the adhesion pad adhering to anything else. When I called NEOS to ask if they could recommend any alternative mounting options they suggested I try 'blue tack' The motion sensor also has a magnetic ball attachment that is so weak that it does not retain the set angle but instead droops down to pointing at the floor!Unless they are able to provide a much more robust and flexible way of attaching to different surfaces, I would avoid this product.

It's OK as a toy, but as you can't use the sensors to trigger an automated routine of any sort (e.g. you can't trigger an Alexa routine) it just gives you a brief notification on your phone, and that is hard to see as the screen layout is poor. I asked Neos if they had any intention of adding that capability and they emailed back to say no. Fun but not much use.

I liked this Kit for price, its a lot cheaper than the likes of Samsung smart thing's. However you need to already own the camera, ok no problem I have 2 already, great! For me anyway. They seem good sensors but not perfect! I constant get alerts the the sensors battery is critical ( this was from the very first day), 2 minutes later I get another alert saying sensor has good battery level???? This happens at least once a week and is very annoying. The app is not the best either, every other week I have to re-login, so not great. If Neos sirts out the false alerts and the app stability then this kit would be great and 5 stars but you are not there yet Neos!
