Re-designing the house and loved the fan so much that I purchased several. They are quiet and powerful

We bought this fan to replace a Minka in our living room. The Minka was noisy as hell and would not stabilize no matter what. We already had a Fanimation fan outside on our lanai and love it. Easy to install and after 3 years works great.We installed this new fan with ease and are ordering another replacement for another noisy Minka. Totally sold in Fanimation! Love the uo and light in this one too!

We love this fan! The uplighting is a great feature and it moves lots of air but is very quiet. The light temperature is warm and we like that there are no light color options to cycle through to get to the warmer color. The only slightly negative feature we have observed is that the canopy is not large so if you have a big ceiling opening it might not cover well. I would definitely recommend this ceiling fan!

We ordered this fan for our contractor to install. It took him several weeks to install as we were doing a large remodel. When it was installed we found that the upper light does not function properly. Since it has been a month since we ordered the fan we are no longer eligible for a return. Don't buy this fan unless you plan to install it soon after purchasing! We now have to purchase a different fan and eat the money we spent on this one.

The instruction manual is terrible. It skips steps such as loosening certain screws to mount and tighten a couple of cover plates. Also, it said it was mountable to an angled ceiling but you cannot use a downrod less than 12”, but they only send a 4” downrod....never stating this as NOT PART OF SHIPMENT. Lastly, all the wiring is next to impossible to stuff into the electrical box and still hope to fit in the lighting receiver used to run the light on top with included remote. I really wanted to like this but , I guess I should have bought 2 Harbor Breeze fans like I just installed flawlessly in my bedroom.

Love the way the fan looks. It is not super quiet, but not obnoxiously noisy either. Unlike our other fans that include up-lighting and down-lighting, the up-lighting flickers when using the fan because the blades cut across the light fixture blocking the light on the ceiling, thereby making it very annoying. So in reality, we only use the fan OR the up-light at a time- not both together. This wasn't an issue with other fans we owned, but at the same time this one is a fraction of the price. Overall, we would recommend the fan and are happy with our purchase.

The description clearly states, "Remote control with reverse feature included." To me this indicates that the remote control has a reverse feature. Which is a requirement of mine. There is absolutely NO acceptable excuse to not have a fan be reversible from the remote, rather than a switch that's impossible to actually SEE on the TOP SIDE of the housing.Instant three stars right there. I tried it anyway since the fan I was replacing this with ALSO had the switch on it to reverse direction (which was why I was replacing it, since this advertised you could do that with the remote).One of the blades had impressions on the silver side. Despite being packaged pretty well all things considering, and this mark being on the inner part, not an edge, so it doesn't appear that it could've happened DURING shipping, I can only assume it happened prior to packaging. In which case their QA needs work too.There is nothing exceptional here, it's an average fan, average performance, average brightness despite the LED lighting, average noise. This in no way stands out other than having the top and bottom light feature. Three blades is less than what it was going to replace, and it didn't move air as silently as that one did. So since I'm stuck with a physical switch to reverse direction I took this out and tossed it, and put my original one back up.

Nice looking fan, easy to assemble, excellent bright light (also dimmable LED). Great fan for bedroom or home office.
