Wow.
Ok, here’s my story. I am a 45 year old woman who has lived in three major cities around the world, as well as an avid traveler, and I have never seen a bed bug in my life. Enter: the Seattle suburbs, a few public transportation trips, two visits to the public library, and a bunch of waterfront park visits. Somewhere between July 1 and 5, I got mauled by a bed bug and then brought him home to roost. UGHHHHHHHH. I tried to cleanse my house with wishful thinking, slept wearing bug spray, and with the lights on, and still got bitten. I also found a blood stain on my mattress after that very first night. My bites were causing me nausea, headaches, and loss of appetite. Serious adverse reaction… I found out that a professional exterminator would cost $1000 for my tiny one-room space, and I still wasn’t even sure if I even had more than one bug around. Finally after 5 weeks, and never seeing another bug, shell or dropping, but still getting bitten every few days, I finally decided to visit Amazon’s best sellers list. The first product to arrive were these traps. I washed and inspected my bedding and then set up these four jobbers under my bed legs - NOT ONE SINGLE BITE IN 5 DAYS - I didn’t even start to use any other product yet. I probably would have gotten a mattress cover as well, but given my particular case, it didn’t really seem necessary. The main note I have is to make sure your bed is made into its own “island” away from walls, outlets or other furniture because the bugs can’t jump or fly, but they can crawl between surfaces. Highly recommending. I seriously cannot recommend these enough.

Great Value!
I was really getting bit up in the spring of 2023 and somebody thought maybe I had bed bugs 🤦 I read and read up about it. Decided to try these traps. In the end, no bed bugs but I still keep the traps on just in case. They do collect dust lol but they are good quality plastic and I can see where they would work! Delivery and ordering itself was a breeze.

Sofa use
Imagine our surprise to see bed bugs in our home. Thankfully we noticed before a huge problem. These are awesome in helping. We’ve had a few trapped in there. Though issue is resolved, we’re leaving them on for a few more months as a precaution. They are helpful and worth purchasing.

As expected
These plastic trays seem like a good idea since I travel often. I recently got two bug bites on my belly right after a trip that could have been bedbugs (or ants outdoors), and I really got concerned, so I bought these for protection and surveillance. I like that these traps are not baited, so there is not a concern leaving them out long term with my dogs. They are very difficult to check for trapped bugs because of their location under the bed. I may have damaged one by catching it under the leg of my bed when I was installing them. The middle seems good enough the not crack under the bed's weight on carpet. I am taking it on faith that the smooth groove will keep bedbugs trapped. So far, no bugs, no more bites, and all seems well.

Not impressed
They are a plastic tray. Nothing to attract bugs.

So far so good
I'm crossing my fingers that the little demons are all dead, or starving to death. I sprayed bed bug foaming spray around, and on the bedding where I was bitten. I also threw out my wooden bed frame, and some of the cardboard in my bedroom where I thought they might be hiding. I found one dead bed bug, full of blood, on the bottom edge of my mattress the day after i sprayed. I was bitten at least four times that I know of, and I found one climbing over my headboard. I replaced my bed frame with a metal frame with posts so I could use these traps. Maybe it's just a coincidence that I haven't seen any of the buggers, because I've never seen any of them in the traps when I've checked. The traps are just a peace of mind that I won't wake up in the middle of the night again and discover one of these blood suckers on me.

Amazing!
I had 2 different companies come out to see my bedroom. Neither could find any trace of bed bugs, even using strong flash lights. But after I put down the first trap, within 5 minutes, there was the bed bug they insisted I show them to prove I do have bed bugs. And it's not even 7pm yet...

Just what I needed
One end of our bed had wide legs and this fit perfectly. I did modify it a bit … I wrapped the outside of each with fabric tape so the bed bugs had a better gripping surface to get up and in trough. I then sprinkled a dab of baby powder in the wells to make it even more slick. There seems to be a lot of folks who don’t realize that the outsides of these are actually scored so the bugs can climb. The well is slick to keep them in. Our mattress and box springs have been encased and we’ve had professional treatment. WE humans are the lure as they need our blood. They are drawn to our scent and especially CARBON DIOXIDE that we exhale when we sleep.
