Perfect webcam
The webcam is the best available at this price range. I have used it for zoom calls and the quality is amazing (even better than many laptop cams). I agree Logitech webcam quality will be a step higher than this but we should also see that they are placed at a higher price range. This webcam is value for money. Very satisfied with the product :)

Mediocre product
Average camera. Mic is total waste. It cancels noise well but fails to capture sound beyond 10 cm. You have to hold it like a microphone in hand. Kind of beats the purpose of having a noise cancelling mic camera for Zoom calls.

Poor quality, unacceptable even it's priced ₹500.
I can't believe a brand like Zebronics can offer such a poor product like this. Camera: Picture quality: very poor, 720p on paper but totally smudged, no clarity, no control to focus, no proper white balance or even exposure. Some portion of the images will be burnt or over exposed yet other portion will remain dark. Low light conditions are even worse. . Even built in VGA cameras on laptop gives better images. Unacceptable. However, only, I repeat, only positive is that it doesn't show any type of image distortion (a common problem observed in webcam of this range) , nither barrel, nor pinch cushion or have any fish eye effect. Mic: the built in mic is useless, can't pick up voice if you are at 18 to 20 inch away. There is no way to turn off as this is connected through the same USB that feed video. LED: the LEDs are just gimmick. These illuminates so feebly that do not add any value. Those too are so aligned that will not focus on your face and focus of centre, making them useless. In line control can be used to control intensity, but the max intensity is also not enough. And there the can be made dim but is no way to switch them off. Look and built quality: this is good. Actually it's the trap where you will be attracted to get this product and order this crap. Packing: very poor Bottomline: it will not serve the purpose even if get this at @₹500. I got this at ₹1250 and they are hiking during increased demand in Lockdown due to online meetings and classes

Was very skeptical to buy due to bad reviews, bought due to lack of options, great buy indeed !!
I have an old laptop which has VGA webcam that no longer works and due to the pandemic, I needed a webcam for video-on meetings (I am a Cloud Engineer, BTW). Looking out for options, but there are hardly any options on Amazon which are 4+ star and Amazon fulfilled. Then I came across this product which was decent in price (actually I got it for 1140 INR) but reviews were not that great. Looking at return policy, I took a leap of faith and bought this product and it got delivered a bit late ( 5 days actually for Delhi NCR delivery for a Prime member) though but I must say that I installed the webcam and it works like a charm. I have my meetings on Zoom and Microsoft Teams and the video quality is pretty clear. I had not expected this at all and this product defies all my pre-notions about it. Just be careful to select the seller as - Appario Retail Pvt Ltd. which is Amazon's own subsidized seller in India apart from Cloudtail. Very happy with the buy !!

Perhaps a workable camera but not 720p @ 24fps for sure
Got the delivery today and tried it. I don't think it is a terrible camera. I have a very high end laptop with a 720p built-in camera, and I can say that in terms of sharpness, clarity of image this camera was about 60% of that, which is *NOT BAD*. I used 4 different softwares on 2 different PCs, i.e. Microsoft Teams, Guvcview, Zeoom on Linux and Skype on laptop with Windows 10 with almost similar results. Pros: 1. At 480p I got 29 fps, and this was at 4:30pm close to the window, so in decent late afternoon light, and the image at 480p was acceptably sharp, focussed, clear and light-balance was fine. 2. Webcam kept mounted on top of monitor, stays put, as long as one doesn't fiddle or pull the cable. Cons: 1. Changing the resolution to HD (i.e. 720p), the frame-rate dropped to 4.66-5.33 fps (not 24 fps as claimed). I removed all USB hubs, and plugged it directly first to a USB2.0 port of my PC, then a USB3.1 port. With full USB bus bandwidth available, this couldn't go beyond 6fps at 720p. I am not sure if it was because I had not found a way to disable audio stream over USB. Perhaps if I could find a way to disable audio streaming over USB, the fps might go up. 2. At HD resolution (720p) it became clear that the image is "upsampled" i.e. interpolated (that to some very fast, non-fine interpolation), and the jaggedness of upsampling was showing through. 3. The above 2 were issues I could still with, but the most irritating issue was that after using webcam with Zoom, after closing Zoom, I started another application needing webcam, the video would never be visible (would remain a black viewport/window). I'd have to manually unplug, reinsert the usb cable of webcam, for the webcam to be recognized in software. In fact, even changing resolution or settings of webcam through the host software i.e. Zoom, or Guvcview, or MS-Teams, also had similar effect, that i.e. the video would be lost, and I'd get video back only after unplugging & reinserting the usb cable. My PC is a MSI H310M PRO-VH, with intel i5-8400, and 16GB DDR4 ram, so reasonably recent and well-spec'd system, and such issues were not expected.
