Piece of garbage....
Very disappointed....I Just got this back in May to replace my old cord I had for over 2.5 years.I take care of my cords and alway ensure I am not putting any undue stress on them or pull. I have been 100% In home with this cord and only used at the sofa or my bed. NO KIDS using it - Nothing. Just me Sitting at one of two spots.Now, the outlet in both locations us a mere 3' (feet) away, so Nowhere far enough to cause any excessive tension.For the first month, this worked fine. Unfortunately, last night, I discovered the tip (USB-C) connector to the cord is no longer securely connected to the cord... I now have the cord exposed by almost 1/4" (inch)!To make it worse, when I plugged it into my laptop, it Now says it 'recommends' HP only cables, indicating its no longer receiving the full charge strength the cord is Supposed to give. -For the past Month, that indicator message has NOT been on my laptop. It has only started This Morning!!Again, I have Barely had this ONE Month!!!! This cord should have NEVER done what it's doing!!!!!!And, Of COURSE, my Return window Closed last week!!!!Not pleased at all, Especially since I tend to only select products 4Stars or above....Now, I need Another one.. SMH...I HATE Garbage products that DONT last!!!!! How do you make a product that Barely lasts JUST OVER the RETURN period?!?!?Not good. Not good at all...

Does the job, even if laptop recognizes it as "low power"
I bought this because I use my laptop in several locations and on the road and I was tired of unplugging my original charger every time. Even though the laptop recognizes it as a low power supply and warns it may not work properly, it does just fine. The laptop gains charge slowly when using and charging, but when turned off and charging it charges faster.My laptop is an HP Precision 5560.
