What an amazing product this, now own 3 of them and planning to buy few more. so right from my window lights, to goodnight active , to door lights and coffee maker, everything is automated. I go home the living room window lights and goodnight is on , they turn off at midnight and my bedroom goodnight turns on, which gets switched off in the morning and my coffee maker dispenses hot coffee when my alarm is set off. What a way to build a smart house .

Hoteon Mini Smart Plug is easy & simple to setup. You can easily control via Smart Life mobile app and Alexa voice control. I bought 2 packs from Amazon and quickly delivered on time.I am using it to charge my mobile phones by scheduling 2 hours time interval after that it will automatically switched off. Easily schedule to switch off / on.No second thought, go and purchase this.

Hmmm, so far it looks great! It was quite easy to setup and get it going. I thought it would be MOSFET based but it has a relay inside(makes tick tok noise when turned ON/OFF. The product box was torn and looked like a used product. Overall, I am happy and would definitely recommend this. I have used it for just few days. Will update my review else otherwise!! Reviewing it once again after 9 month, it is still working great!!

**EDIT:**I changed the star rating from 1 to 5 because of awesome after-market customer service. I contacted them on Whatsapp after the product stopped working and they promptly replaced the product.Still, l'd recommend you to use it with a Surge Protector.**Original Review:**I was so happy with this product. It worked perfectly. I had setup it with my aquarium light and I could say "Hey Google, turn ON/OFF aquarium light" and it used to work flawlessly. I had also scheduled it to automatically turn OFF in the evening and automatically turn ON in the morning.But, my happiness lasted only 20 days. One voltage spike and it stopped working (non of the other devices failed with that spike). It doesn't provide any warranty and I can't even have it repaired.I urge everyone to spend some more money and get branded ones like the one from TP-Link.

I'm pretty satisfied with the product. The reason I was looking for the product is to ensure some of the devices and appliances at home are turned off when not in use. Especially the iron (which is so regularly used at home and in a rush).I bought 2 of these. I have 1 connected to the iron and the other to all the devices in my living room.How I use them: I can check the status of the iron even when I'm away from home and power it off from wherever I am.I have scheduled the powering off of all living room devices (TV,Sound bar,Xbox,etc) at a particular hour at night and scheduled it to come back on at a certain hour in the day ( I have different schedules on week days and weekends). I really liked the thought that has gone into the product and the mobile app that goes with it. It's been a month of using the products and they've been working well.It's just a one off case when it shows offline on the app when the device is on or doesn't let me power on from the app. Could be a glitch. That is fixed when I manually turn off the mains to the device and turn it back on. So far so good. It serves my need 9/10 times. I'll still give the product a 5 * because it's innovative and helps home automation.I haven't fully integrated it with Alexa/Echo yet but eating it for the anywhere/remote operation via mobile app and scheduling capabilities.

--> The plug emitted a constant high frequency sound which was very irritating if you are near the plug.--> Voice function of the plug stopped working after a day.--> It also had a large diameter and wasn't able to fit the socket with a switch next to it.
