Cleared "Inspection Due" message on 2021 Q5
I bought the NT680 pro to clear the "inspection due" message on my 2021 Q5. Felt little expensive for what I wanted to do, but bought it anyway.... My thinking was that I'll probably use it 4-5 times while I owned the car... just to clear the "inspection due" message. I do my own oil changes and I didn't want to go to the dealer for service. I am pretty sure I would of spent $400-500 for oil change, etc, etc. Anyway, I was able to clear the message, so to me it's worth it.

Excellent tool, so many features, lifetime updates
This thing is great, but it came with a defective micro SD card, so when I first tried to use it, it was locking up, and not acting right. I tried updating it, with the included card reader, and it quickly became obvious the card was corrupt. I contacted tech support from their website, (china time) and they answered me quickly, with instructions for replacing it. inserted a 32 gig card I had and was able to then update it, and it has been flawless since.I needed this for abs and airbag mainly, but it does so much, on so many cars, it's simple and powerful,

Buyer Beware.....
The product is fine. It's easy to use, etc. The problem is FOXWELLs website does a very poor job of explaining which scanner can do what function. You have to be very careful with which model you purchase. The NT680 covers all car brands for many functions. The common functions. That is why it's $400. The catch is 'why are the other models less expensive?' The reason. The NT530 is CAR BRAND SPECIFIC and because of that it DOES ALL FUNCTIONS for that particular CAR BRAND. I found this out the hard way as i am trying to do the transfer case service on my '18 M5. If you want the All FUNCTION ability for several cars, you can buy the additional software for the NT530 and as you add car brands you will then find its really much more expensive than the 680pro. It makes sense now, but can FOXWELL do a better job of explaining that? So I guess I am buying a third FOXWELL. I have the BMW/MINI specific one I got from ECS and it never was updated beyond 2017, despite ECS selling it to me for my 2018 car. URRGGG... and I missed my return window. It's going to eBay.....its great really buy it from me....:)

Foxwell NP680 PRO
Updated to latest code. Make a backup microSD card. Original was flakey. Tech support from seller was awesome- I did not contact Foxwell directly. The iPhone support app is great. I have a GM Tech2 factory tool for my truck but this matched most of the factory functions plus all control modules such as BCM, power train, TCM.... etc. I purchased this for my Mini, Honda, and Ford vehicles. I bought the full function package and for $400 it covers 70+ vehicles which is a bargain. Factory tools run easily 10X that cost. If you only want coverage on one vehicle you can sped less on the stripped down model- and you can add more vehicle support later at $60-100 per brand. But after buying two extra vehicles you are at this price points I spent the money up front to cover all vehicles. Plus you get the advanced functions for setting up and repair functions. It has auto VIN detection and the service screens are well organized to boot. All in all I am very happy and give this product high marks on value for cost. I would rate this a definite buy for do it yourselfers and even professional shop use.

Item missing manual and usb cord.
The item was obviously new, but was missing some items. The unit requires activation and updating via their user interface software which I used and was unsuccessful. I tried multiple different methods to no avail. I am very computer savvy so it was not because I didn't understand how to use technology. I returned the item for an exchange (for the same) because I like the reviews I read, and I just want a working unit. If the second unit works, I will update my review. If it doesn't, then just assume I returned that one too. BTW, I contacted Foxwell-Amazons technical support team and they said they couldn't help me because I didn't purchase it from that particular vendor on Amazon's site. Hmmmmm. Yes I did buy it from Amazon - apparently not from that vendor because they said they don't sell this unit....Frustrated from spending over 400 dollars.

Will not reset Bentley EPB
The media could not be loaded. I bought this Foxwell NT680 Pro scanner because tech support told me it would work to reset the EPB on my 2013 Bentley GTC. The scanner was 3 days late arriving and when I finally received it, what a let down. It was unable to connect to the Bentley using the maintenance function to reset the EPB. I was able to connect using auto vin to read diagnosis DTC codes but that is not why I purchased this. Every scanner out there can identify codes, I need one that will perform the maintenance function to reset the EPB so I can put rear brakes on my car. BEWARE, just because this scanner has Icons that light up saying it will perform functions, definitely doesn't mean it will. What really stinks is apparently you can't trust tech-support's answers either. Just move on, don't buy this product at all.

Wrong product, but got it changed fast!
The wrong product was accidentally sent. Contacted seller right away and they replied pretty quick. A couple messages back and fourth to confirm details and got it all sorted out . New item was sent with quick shipping. The seller was really helpful. Definitely appreciate how easy it was to sort things out .
