Delicious!
This is a great curry paste!!! It is spicy but if you like spicy you will love it!! The container is great and it comes in a sealed bag inside the container. It smells great and I use it to make a tofu, veggie curry!! It's a favorite in our house!! I've ordered other panang curries but we really like this one!!

Best tasting curry paste.
The best curry paste I found. Just add coconut milk, sugar, fish sauce. If you have kefir line leaves, that would be even better.

My favorite house curry - a pantry staple!
My favorite curry paste! The blend of ingredients is delicious and perfectly spicy. You can add as much or as little as you like depending on how hot you like your food. One of my go-to weeknight meals is a can of coconut milk, a carton of broth, lots of veggies, and a few big spoonfuls of curry paste cooked in the Instant Pot. That gets ladled over a protein of our choice which I separately (fish, chicken, shrimp, or tofu) and rice or noodles. Delicious!

Sooooo good!!!
I first had Panang curry at a local Thai fusion place a few years ago and was hooked. I decided to try and make it myself and quickly realized making my own curry paste wasn’t going to happen since I don’t have a good Asian market nearby and some of those ingredients are not available in most grocery stores. So, I checked out a few YouTube chefs and they named this Arroy-D curry paste as a solid choice that tends to be widely available. Full disclosure, I have not tried any others yet, this was my first foray into homemade curry. So I pretty much followed Jet Tila’s recipe off YouTube using this curry paste and it turned out really good. You can raise and lower the spice level depending on the curry paste/coconut milk ratio. I also think that “frying” the curry paste first in a little oil really does make a big difference in opening up all of the flavors. Overall I don’t think you can go wrong with this brand. Although I’m sure there are better options out there, I think this is most likely one of best widely available curry paste brands out there. I also have the red curry paste which I’m looking forward to trying in a week or so.

Super salty
The flavor is nice but too salty. Adding enough coconut milk/ broth to dilute the salt causes the flavor of the curry itself to become too bland. Need a higher spice ratio with less salt.
