Awesome knife-set, very sharp. just the right size for cutting all types of fruit and vegetables. Highly recommended. just be careful not to cut yourself, very sharp. Good price but the black variant of this same set is even cheaper.

Excellent serrated knives with rounded tip, which work well for tomatos and also for meat etc. Nice blue colored handles. Victorinox quality.

These kitchen knives are wonderful. We learned about them on a visit to Switzerland. Had I just seen them, I wouldn't have expected they were any good, with the bright plastic handles and low price. . . But we found out from locals the secret- that these are amazing kitchen knives, not just for tomatoes, but just about anything. We got home, love them and decided to get more, and also give a few inexpensive but valuable gifts. Caution: As noted they are REALLY sharp, so be careful with them!

I bought the same in Europe in 2000. 25 years later, they are as sharp as the day i bought them. I wanted more of the same. They work so well on steaks, tomatos, veggies. Fruits, raw potatoes, bread, spreading, slicing, etc. Although the handles are polymer, they have survived many dishwashings, kids and grandkids. I even take one backpacking as the one light and versatile knife that does it all.ll my fellow hikers borrowed and praised them too, now they bought there own for camping and picnicking.

For 15 years I worked in a retail army/navy store where a variety of Victorinox knifes were sold.The employees all had a serrated version for various parts of the job; like breaking down delivery boxes, cutting lengths of rope, opening bulk bags of shells, and various other jobs in our stock room and warehouse.In addition, we all had at least one or 2 at home.They were so versatile (sharp and durable) that I gave them as gifts to family members. Needless to say, cutting cheese, meat and/or finely slicing vegetables was a breeze.The sharpness of the serrated model lasts a very long time (not so with the straight edge model)It's been 10 years since I retired from that job and I had one knife left. Knowing I would need a few more but trying to save money, I ordered a "look alike" brand which had decent reviews.After a few tries I knew it was a BIG MISTAKE and almost immediatelyordered the genuine Victorinox set;consequently I couldn't afford the piece of meat I meant to cut with it <---------- kidding of course.But seriously, I have no regrets and if you purchase a serrated edge Victorinox, I'm pretty sure you won't be disappointed.
