You may also be able to make money by making simple repairs like these on supposed junk freezers and fridges then resale them.

Freezer stopped working after a lighting strike. Looked online to if was possible to fix, it was. Replace the starter relay and you're back in business. Hardest part is getting access to the part in the freezer.
