How to Predict Everything

Mathematically light-weight and a useless prediction range
The book is about predicting anything. Poundstone mentions Bayes but nearly all of the book is about Richard Gott's method (any mathematical linkage to Bayes isn't addressed.) The author uses a lifetime uniform distribution and then trimming its ends with the shortest range at one end (0.0%-0.25%) for the short range and (97.5% -100%). Yielding a prediction range of multiples as short as 1/19th to as long 19 times. Consequently, "The Prediction" is a range so wide as to not be useful for much more than starting a conversation. An astrologer or horoscope can do the same.
