A Keeper
I buy and read many Christmas books, then usually donate them. This one is a keeper. Predictable ending--yes, but not for the 13th day of Christmas. I had heard of surprising a family with gifts for the 12 days leading up to Christmas (or the 12 days after, for you critical purists), but this was a nice twist at the end. I will read this over and over in the years to come.

One for your collection!
Everyone needs a Marva Ferguson in their lives to remind them of the true meaning of the Christmas Season! We love, we give, we share, and we sing during the holiday season. We focus on our gifts, card writing, cooking and company. The day after Christmas we pack up the season, it's true meaning and all of the decorations, put them on a shelf and focus our attention on other things. Marva teaches us that the most important day of the year is December 26th. How will you live your life from December 26th of this year until December 12th of next year? You'll never sing The Twelve (or 13) Days of Christmas Song the same way again or put an apron on without a giggle. This is sure to become a holiday favorite and a new family tradition. As many read The Night Before Christmas every Christmas Eve, you'll want to curl up by the fire and reread this treasure every December 12th!Grab a bowl of gumdrops, get the fire roaring, put your feet up and get ready to enjoy the newest Jason Wright novel!

my new favorite of Jason Wright
I love all of Jason Wright's books but this is my new favorite. He has such a perfect heart for sharing what really matters in life. And this book does just that. My attitude on the day after Christmas will be forever changed(in a much better way) from reading this. I am thankful for the story and for the insight into real life he gives. I love all the characters. I gave this book to a friend with a pack of tissues to go with it. And I love the picture of the Lord's love that shines through the book. Thank you Jason Wright.

Loved It!
What a wonderful message of love and faith as we celebrate Christmas and the birth of Christ. May the triskadeckaphobics (those who fear the number 13) embrace this message of faith!

Great reminder of the joy of giving at Christmas
I loved this book! Charlee is an absolute doll, that we could all have one in our families! I want to be Marva's neighbor! The "mature" among us have so much insight into life to offer, I loved reading about this family embracing her, bringing joy into her life and learning and gaining comfort from her! I loved being reminded of how doing things for others can make a big impact on what they might be going through, and give comfort at that time in their lives. Another great & inspiring book by Jason F. Wright!

Don't bother buying this.
Shallow characters. Predictable plot lines. Sentimental tosh.Since when did the 12 (13?) days of Christmas start BEFORE Christmas??Final straw, all the Christian preaching at the end. Ugh.I see now why it wasn't published in the UK.
