I bought this clock to use on travel and it fills the bill. It is small, with an audible alarm and includes a light.I highly recommend it. It is a bargain at its price.

Cool little clock, fun to have on the desk

What made me buy it? 1. Braun brand name 2. Size 3. AA Battery powered so very portable 4. Light feature 5. Promised audible alarm. Didn't really use it much at all then recently decided to give it a try as an alarm clock. Strangely, the alarm went off at the designated time (6:30) but the hands were saying it was 7:30 I was all set to toss it in the trash but then looked at the back of the clock where the adjustment dials are and noticed that you are only supposed to turn the dials/hands one direction (clockwise on the clock face), clearly embossed on the back. Never noticed that before. Anyway, now that I realize my mistake in ignoring the direction to set the time, I'm gonna give this little clock another try. I won't be bothered if it loses a few minute a day, I can adjust for that. I've made a note to update this review if my delayed realization corrects all "problems" I was experiencing.UPDATE and Reason for 1 Star. I've given it several tries now and it ultimately always sticks at 7:33....ever time, regardless of what I do. Sorry, Braun, I have always had great experiences with your products but this one is junk. Hope you correct and improve in the future but I'm not gonna be giving this little clock another try or buy.

Wonderful design and size. Easy to read. However, it is very difficult to set the time. Weirdly difficult. I am keeping the clock but if I were traveling a lot and changing time zones I would not be happy with it.

Size is just right for a travel alarm clock. Quartz movement is quiet. Crescendo alarm works great. Only complaint is it is a challenge to change the time and alarm settings because the control knobs are flush with the back of the clock. This might be a game changer for some, but other features of this clock outweigh this relatively small inconvenience.

I decided to try this clock because it was analog, and I felt it would be easier to see at night when I wasn't wearing my glasses. However, the lighting is very poor. It comes from one corner of the clock and seems to illuminate the face of the clock instead of the hands. The second hand, which is unnecessary, makes it hard to distinguish the hands. After several months of use, I returned to my old Timex Indiglo travel alarm.It is difficult to set the alarm, both in turning it and in setting it precisely.The clock is too small at 2.25" square. I would have preferred 3"; bigger, more visible hands; and no second hand.I cannot recommend this clock.

The clock is small but works well. It keeps time pretty accurately and setting the alarm is actually quite intuitive.

Ideal for traveling - No tick tock sound and it has a light. I think I bought one 20 years ago, why change success ?
