A Beautiful Piece of Technology
This computer is the best and most powerful computer I have bought, It is much faster than my old PC tower. My last tower lasted 10 years by HP, which this new tower replaces. My old HP tower still works, but it is a little bit slow by its 10 years age, this is the perfect tower to replace it.Update: After 6 months using itI bought it in September 2020, after more than 6 months using it, I am still amazed by the super value of this tower. It is so fast, it just use about 2 seconds to boot up and be ready to browse the internet. This speed is unmatched by any other computer I have tried. The most powerful and recent Dell computer all in one using the 11th generation processor use 15 seconds to boot.

FAST!
This computer is FAST! It has a SSD drive that is used to start up and then run the operating system as well as most of your software. The regular hard drive is used for storage of large files that you don't need every day. I had an older HP Pavilion that just couldn't keep up with the software demands any more. It would take 6-7 minutes to boot up. This one takes about 20 seconds! As noted, the DVD Drive is a bit delicate, but I don't use it on a regular basis anyway, so I am not too worried about it. Otherwise, it has been pretty flawless. I've had it about 2 months and could not be happier!

Cool computer!
The computer loads super quick. It takes about 8 seconds to boot up and I’m watching a YouTube video by the 25 second mark. It crashed during the first week from an update, I had no choice but to reinstall windows, but after that it hasn’t given me any more problems! Definitely wouldn’t sell it or return it. I’m really happy with it! I use it mainly for music production.

Exceeds expectations
I use this computer for office work, including using large spreadsheets. I like to have many applications and many tabs open at once. I find the computer to be quite speedy and capable of handling a lot of operations at once. It was easy to set up.

A Great buy on even a greater desktop!!!
I shopped for almost 2 months and I kept coming back this HP Envy Desktop 10th Generation Intel Core i7-10700.The price for all that thye give you is a good value. I got more computer then what I needed but that is how I like it. This desktop will over meet all of my needs for the next 5 to 7 years. I am very happy with it. I have owned other HP's and they were durable but noisy. They over came that with this very quiet and low heat advancement. I am VERY pleased with my purchase....Very Pleased!!!! Thanks HP!

Beware HP defects and limited waranty
I was happier on my old HP running Windows XP but Microsoft discontinuing support forced me to purchase this HP Envy running Windows 10/11. It certainly had greater speed than my old HP, and even more USB ports for all my external storage drives and accessory connections including a new USB-C super high speed port. Unfortunately I have never been able to get the USB-C port to work or connect. In fact from day one when I plugged my new iPad Pro into it, the USB-C cable did not fit tightly or make a connection, so I just made do with the old style USB ports. But now that my computer is nearing end of it HP warranty I contacted HP support to see what could be done about the USB-C port that I have never been able to get to work. After extensive phone conversation with HP Tech Agent Jose--including his connecting with my phone's camera to take pictures of the open face of my USB-C port, HP determined that my problem was an exterior problem and that HP Warranty covers only internal problems. Thus my defective USB-C port that has NEVER worked since the first day I got my computer is not covered by HP's limited warranty and HP would charge me $319 if I wanted to get this defective port replaced!!!!!!!Lesson One: Do not trust HP, they do not stand behind their equipment or give any real warrantyLesson Two: Never let any major problem be unresolved before Amazon’s 30 day return policy expires. I made the mistake of assuming the port problem was just something I did not understand not thinking it had arrived defective or damaged. In those first 30 days I was too focused on learning the new Windows 10 program and shifting all my program and data files to the new drives of my new computer. I was a fool to not just give up and should have sent defective computer back to Amazon within the 30 day return period.Less Three: After using multiple generations of HP Desktop and laptop computers since 1995, I will never buy any HP product ever again

Not as fast as claimed
I do simple photo and video editing for my YT page. Even after upgrading the memory to 64gb this machine is sluggish.Within 6 months the card reader stopped working

Very Good Contemporary Desktop Computer
I purchased the HP Envy Desktop Core i7-10700 (TE01-1020) Computer last month. It worked fast and flawlessly right out of the box and continues today. It replaced a 10-year old HP Desktop that served me well but couldn't keep up with all tasks I wanted done simultaneously. I attached a couple photos of the new computer that they don't show in the advertisement. There appears to be an expansion bay for third hard drive and two expansion card bays. The case has four opening but the motherboard has two card bays. I immediately inserted a PCIE 4-port USB 3.0 expansion card so that I attach all my USB stuff (exterior hard drive, scanner, two printers..) in a rear.
