okay, Maddox is my favorite. ❤️
I can’t even exaggerate - I think I’ve read about 17 of Meghan Quinn’s books and I’m obsessed. I thought Walker was my favorite but I was wrong… so wrong. Maddox and Herman are my favorite ever! I love Kinsley but man, Maddox is everything! ❤️ This one is pretty spicy but man, the plot is so good!10/10

The Change Up
Love these characters. This is the first book in the series that I’ve read. I’ll go back and read the other ones. It would’ve been 5 Stars but Kinley, bless her heart, never listened to him and was over the top with her beliefs. It was annoying and I guess meant to be annoying, lol.

SO GOOD
She's outdone herself this time. This book is DEVASTATING in both the best and worst way. It's got an emotional impact that will knock you out, and Quinn has the skills to put you back together again. I loved, LOVED the depth of this relationship. These two are lifelong friends who have had each other's backs since childhood, and the connection is absolutely amazing. It's probably the best true friends to lovers romance I have ever read; Quinn nails that dynamic perfectly. These are two people who have seen each other through all of life's highs and lows; who now find themselves seeing their relationship from a new perspective. But this bad boy has earned his rep for a reason, and you're going to want to brace yourself for impact. The story follows Maddox, the so-called "bad boy of baseball." He certainly seems to fit the title - he's covered in tattoos, schedules his hookups, gets into fights regularly, and generally doesn't care if he hurts your feelings. But there's one woman in his life that turns him into a giant teddy bear, one woman who has been with him through thick and thin. Kinsley is Maddox's bubbly, sweet, caring best friend, and he's never really seen her as anything but that. They have the type of relationship that's only built from years of knowing each other, with no filters, no need to hide their true selves, and no questions about the way they feel about each other... until they start sharing a home. When's the last time you read a romance where the couple exchange I love you's 5% of the way in? There is deep love and respect between these two; they've just never been IN love with each other before. I loved how Kinsley can turn gruff, intimidating Maddox into a giant softie within seconds. The depth that Quinn managed to achieve is what makes this book; it swings for the fences with HUGE highs and lows. It's got all of the delicious tension that I love about a friends to lovers romance, with a connection that's obvious from the beginning. These two are possibly TOO open about their lives (especially their dating history), but that just shows their connection. It's the steamiest book I have read by Quinn - a slow burn to scorching INFERNO, if you will. It suits the couple perfectly and showcases intimacy in a way that can only be achieved when a couple trusts each other completely. But the lows... oh man, the lows are going to get you. Quinn definitely tested my limits there, but the grovel makes the angst worth it. Buckle up your seatbelt for a wild ride of a read. I was lucky enough to receive an ARC via Candi Kane PR (then purchased it for my collection) and am voluntarily leaving a review of this friends to lovers romance.

Childhood loves
Maddox is a pitcher for the Rebels who is known for being gruff and fighting. Kinsley and he grew up together. Kinsley got a job in Chicago but doesn't have enough money to get a place to live. Maddox says she can move in with him. Maddox is a lost soul who questions if he really deserves Kinsley. Many ups and downs before they get their happily ever after. Very hot!!

THIS IS NOT A STAND-ALONE AS PORTRAYED
The Change Up by Meghan Quinn3/5 ⭐️5/5 🌶️Let’s start here - this is NOT a STAND-ALONE like it states it is. This book needs to be grouped in a series with the rest of the guys from the book - it’s considered “the Brentwood boys” or something like that and I’m honestly upset. I chose this book because it was a standalone. I would’ve read this book even if it was a part of a series - but don’t list it as a stand-alone when half of your characters have storylines and history that is written in previous books or will be written in another book. I’m just frustrated because it’s not going to be fun to go back and read the others if I already know the HEA outcome. Just spoils it.Also, this book has a massive plot hole. Maddox has family issues that are brought up in this book but none of that ever gets resolved and honestly - that irks me. Why even bring up the issue with the family member and then never speak of it again? It makes zero sense to me and it brought nothing to the book other then the characters downfall which honestly with this plot hole makes it seem stupid and not even worth the hassle.I love Meghan Quinn - but I’m a bit put off by how this book is portrayed as a stand-alone and then the major plot hole.I recommend reading this book - but I recommend reading the others that should be GROUPED IN A SERIES first.📚

Yes! Please read absolutely fantastic
Oh god this book! I'm not sure where to start. Maddox is my new book boyfriend and Kingsley is my new best friend. I honestly loved these 2 people and they match up perfectly together they might have had it a bit rocky but they got it together and got sorted. That kitchen scene omg! One of the hottest things I've read wow what a scene. I love meghann quinn I've read most of this baseball series I live in England so the terminology was a bit confusing for me but wow I honestly loved this book its definitely my favourite! So much so im reading it again so many days later after finishing it.

Good read
Really enjoyed this book and it just flowed so well. As to the characters, well absolutely loved Maddox and his distort with Kinsley. Her character bugged the heck out of me with all the changes made in a place she’d been invited to stay at and to be honest felt the author went a bit ott with every aspect of her life focused on the environment. To the point I felt Maddox was bullied. That said she grew on me once she grew a set and forgave Maddox his tiny blip.

Another fantastic book by the brilliant Meghan Quinn!!! Loved it!!!!😍
I love this book! Gah where to begin..... I'm quite biased because Meghan Quinn is my new favourt author and I absolutely love all of her books that I've read so far. But there was just something about this book that really got me. I instantly feel in love with Maddox and Kinsley, their relationship is effortless and complex at the same time. I found myself laughing out loud at some parts and in the next moment crying my little heart out. And boy oh boy does Meghan know how to write a break up scene, didn't think my heart would recover! If you love a good friends to lovers romance then this book is right up your street, it's filled with laugh out loud moments, heart breaking scenes and lots of sexy bits. What more do you want. Oh and don't forget a happy ever after that just melts your heart.
